Arena Hotel - Special Class

I will visit again the city and the Arena Hotel. Until next time...

Pros: Clean and comfortable room. Cozy lobby and breakfast area. Very nice breakfast also. Very helpful and nice person the receptionist doing his best to serve us from day 1 till the end of the stay.

Cons: Room soundproofing, slow heating system.

Comfortable hotel; unreliable airport transfer

Pros: All the staff was very nice,helpful. Very good breakfast with good selection of food options. Great size of room, we had everything what we required in the room; it was also clean. The place is walking distance from some main attractions-like the Blue Mosque.

Cons: Unreliable airport transfer. I booked airport transfer the day before our flight and it appeared nearly half an hour later than the booked time. We didn’t need that stress to add to our otherwise great experience.

Perfect Location for a first time visit to Istanbul (and yummy breakfast!)

Pros: Great location about 5 mins from the Hippodrome so very convenient. Located down a quiet street so no noise. Amazing breakfast and really great staff. This is the perfect location to be close to the main attractions but away from the noise and crowds. Recommended.

Excellent place and location, very friendly staff

Pros: Big room, comfy large bed even for 4 person, clean and with excellent location. The staff was very helpful even managed to find us a parking place whcih was almost and impossible task.

Cons: The breakfast room wasn't enough and the breakfast was held partly in something as a shed. One of the days it was heavy raining and the shed was leaking...

Pros: The staff was so nice, the hotel was very well located only 5 minutes away from the blue mosque and Aya Sophia. What I loved most was the hammam, in this hotel if you book a hammam you have it all only for yourself it was like a dream. Also Hülya was so great at doing the hammam the turkish way with loads of soap and with a very reasonable price. I highly encourage you to book a room in this hotel you will not be disappointed.

Cons: The style of the bedroom was not very modern, a bit old fashioned but that is not a problem.

Pros: Great location a few minutes walk from sultanahmet square and some of the famous landmarks. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pros: The property was located in a quiet part of the center.

Cons: The hotel was a little tired, it needs a renovation m, the Turkish bath was also not working properly. There are many “touristic” restaurants around but you are in the most historical part of the city. Breakfast needs improvement. All the staff members were great and attentive!

Comfortable stay in a great location

Pros: The location was great and ideal for exploring the city. The Blue Mosque was around five minutes away, and there was a small mini market just around the corner, which was very convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was good and offered a nice variety; although options were limited for someone with coeliac disease, there was still food I could eat, which was appreciated.

Cons: I had a small balcony, which was great. However, there was noticeable noise from outside at times. While breakfast was enjoyable, more clearly labelled gluten-free options would have been helpful for guests with coeliac disease. Overall, this didn't impact our stay much.
