Continental Hotel Pera

Goof valuable stay nea Galata tower with great view on 8th floor.

Pros: Nice situated we were having a view on the Galata tower. The jacuzzi didn’t work but not even taken the effort to complain as bath was sufficient. Nice balcony. Breakfast was served and more then enough with coffee/tea and orange juice. Only after five days the same breakfast it became a bit boring. Room was spacious and clean. Good value for money.

Cons: No negative things or it must be the smoking smell in the hallways because of smoking in front of the hotel.

Pros: I love the location. Perfect place area to stay. I didn't depend on the public transport as everywhere I wanted to visit was just walking distance. I mean, I love to walk so it was perfect for me. The view of my room was just amazing!

Cons: The noise. I could hear everything. My neighbours was loud and always slamming to doors in the middle of the night. Friday and Saturday, I could dance to the loud music in from outside in my dreams.

Pros: We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. The location was also very convenient. I would especially like to mention the afternoon receptionist, who was extremely helpful and polite. He was always willing to assist us with anything we needed and made us feel truly welcome. His professionalism and kindness really stood out and made our stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

Pros: The location was great, the rooms were comfortable, the staff was helpful.

Overall a nice hotel with an excellent location with some things that they can be upgraded

Pros: Overall it was a good hotel and a good choice. The location is perfect especially for people that wanna use the metro to move around the city. Istiklal is in about 3-4 minutes walking from the hotel and the neighbour is vivid and beautiful.Pera in general is one of the most beautiful areas in Instabul.Close to the hotel are beautiful coffee places,bars etc. The building is in a good condition and the room is also in good condition. The personnel was polite in the reception and in the spa area and the restaurant. I also appreciated a lot that the receptionist especially the one at the morning shift was speaking English fluently. The room was spacious so it made our accommodation easy and smooth.

Cons: My biggest disappointment was the breakfast. They serve you a fixed disk with a Turkish kind of breakfast which they don't mention in their listing.The breakfast doesn't include water and when we asked they charged as 100tl for a bottle of water.Also if you wanna a second cup of coffee is not included. For me that I'm not a huge fan for Turkish breakfast it was a big flop. But the biggest flop was the coffee refill.I would be totally ok with the disk even if it's not my preferred breakfast if I could have an extra cup of coffee. The cleaning was above the average and overall good but not exactly to my standards.During our accommodation the sheets weren't changed only the towels.So it had some issues but not big ones.On the contrary it was better than other places that i have stayed in Instabul. Lastly the last day we were leaving at night and we asked to check out later they gave as a free Extra hour which was nice from them but even though our room wasn't booked for the night and even though we proposed to pay extra half a day and stay until 16:00-17:00 they didn't accept. I know that maybe this is their policy but I'm also a properties manager in my city and if i can help my guests i would gladly do it. They kept our luggage which was also very nice from them.

Pros: Great stay! The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. Exceeded my expectations and well worth the price. Would definitely stay here again.

Not a bad option for Istanbul

Pros: The hotel is perfectly located: right across to the metro station. The embankment is a 10-15-minute walk away. The rooms are spacious. There's a kettle and a safe. The cleaning was good. The staff is generally friendly and always willing to help.

Cons: Breakfast: no buffet, just some set of food on a plate—Turkish breakfast. It was not enough even for me. You can ask for coffee, but water is an extra charge. And the bed linens are too old. And it is noisy street (be honest, it is norma for Istanbul)

Pros: Very spacious and cozy room,with balcony and view,in the 8th floor. The location is 50 meter from Shisane metro station...

Cons: Breakfast could be more generous...

Highly recommended especially at times when they have special offers when its great value for money

Pros: Great location close to Galata tower, istaklal and metro lines. Third time i stay there, great value for money.

Cons: I would prefer a buffet breakfast than fixed served dish.
