Great stay in Istanbul

Pros: Staff very helpfull and room was very clean , it is located in super area. All the sight seeing just in walking distance . Rooftop terrace has very nice view could be one in Istanbul for süre . Breakfast was truly delight and healty . We loved our stay . Thanks to the whole team

Nice family hotel in the city center.

Pros: Very nice, welcoming and helpful staff, we felt like we were treated as family. Great location in the city center - we walked everywhere. Wonderful breakfast. We also got a free upgrade to a large room with a balcony. Lovers of old colonialist style would enjoy the interior - we especially liked the high ceilings. The hotel also has a nice rooftop. Just steps away from the hotel are small grocery stores with good prices. We recommend this hotel.

Cons: Some little things (e. g. shower hose) need to be updated/fixed, but overall everything was functional. The air conditioning was a little annoying, since we couldn't make it blow less air right into our faces at night, so we had to turn it off for a while and wake up and turn it back on for a while when it got too hot.

Perfect

Pros: Everything was perfect at the hotel. The breakfast is open buffet with many types of breakfast. The employees are friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was large and spacious. The important thing for me was the cleanliness of the room and the cleanliness of the room was above our expectations. I am very happy to stay in this hotel. If I come to Istanbul again, I will stay in this hotel, thank you for everything.

Great location and value for money but the view is only from one room.

Pros: While I didn’t get the room in this photo, the beds were very comfortable, very clean and nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff especially Moro. He’s a great communicator and made my friend and I feel safe and like one of the family.

Fantastic location but somewhat dated - good as a base to stay

Pros: Fantastic location near Metro and Grand Bazaar. Friendly staff.

Cons: Quite early breakfast slot 8-10am. No lift (although that’s already states on adverts). Hotel is more tired and dated than photos advertised

Very nice stay at Gedikpasa Family Hotel

Pros: The staff at the front desk and manager were really helpful, and friendly. The hotel location is great - a short (uphill)walk to the Grand Bazaar and the Blue Mosque and Agia Sofia is fairly close and within walking distance, as is the amazing Basilica Cistern. From the top of the hotel there is a splendid view out to sea with all the container ships and other vessels sailing slowly by. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well cleaned. It is advisable to use the safety deposit box. It is a very nice feature that you can make a coffee or tea anytime, and the shower was always nice and hot.
