Great location for the historical centre of Istanbul and also for experiencing Turkish hospitality.

Pros: Location is perfect for exploring the historical old town. The host were very, very friendly and extremely helpful with our lost luggage: they were in contact with and following up with the luggage handling company and were awake at 3am when our luggage was delivered. They also upgraded us to a apartment with a a balcony.

Cons: Nothing that I did not like, really. The property could benefit from some sprucing up but everything was clean and in order. Please note there is no lift and there are 4 floors. This was not a problem for us.

Pros: Friendly staff, nice and clean place, convenient to get to tram stations. Would definitely consider staying again if return to Istanbul. Lots of restaurants around, especially try the one at the corner of the street (Old Gedik Pasa Kebab Fish House), it has great food and is economical.

Good place

Pros: Personal is kind and helpful. Room is clean enough, well-equipped, has everything including iron and hairdryer. Very good beds. Location is very good, just in the center. Breakfast is tasty.

Cons: - Cleaness is not exceptional: hairs in the bathroom, dirty light switchers. - Some equipment, walls needs to be renovated. - Be ready for: cat's smell on the stairs, the street where the hotel located is quite dirty. The window view is very unpleasant. No warming. We were on the last floor and there were a long curved ladder, no elevator. But is is still worth booking if you are not expecting beautiful surrounding and can do stairs. It is visible that the owner tries to provide the maximum possible comfort to the guests.

Pros: The staff were helpful. The room provided was spacious. Good for a family.

Cons: The location is not accessible by taxi as its in a no entry area. The access road is on an elevation.. Breakfast was below average, needs improvement.
