Lunet Old City Hotel

Pros: The hotel is newly renovated, everything is well designed. The rooms are small, but the layout is good. I was alone, could be a bit tight with two people and bags. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and there were so many little extras that shows they put in the extra effort. Sahand was amazing! The beds are so comfortable and the breakfast had lots of options.

Cons: There was an issue with the booking system when I stayed, which resulted in a delay at check in, as my booking was not found despite me already paying days before. Then I was asked to change rooms after one night, again due to an issue with the system. The staff handled it amazingly, but I recommend management to update the system, as it was unpleasant. The area is ok, there’s a metro and tram line nearby. However, I didn’t feel super safe traveling alone there after dark. Soundproofing is just ok, I could hear the people in the neighboring rooms talking and the noise from the road can be loud. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Pros: Everything. Nice design, brand new, clean, very polite staff, speaking perfectly English. Free good espresso and cappuccino in the lobby.

Cons: Just a recommendation. The breakfast could be in the price, which is usual for Istanbul.

Pros: Everything was perfect, the main location is very close to the metro and tram, we arrived at 8 am and got the room immediately, we didn't wait at all. The hotel staff was very friendly and even offered us gifts.

Pros: Our stay at the Lunet Old City Hotel was truly wonderful. The hotel itself is beautifully modern, clean, and stylish, offering a really comfortable atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The location is perfect — just tucked off a main road, which means everything is easily accessible without the noise or chaos you’d usually expect from a busy area. It felt peaceful yet central, which was ideal for exploring Istanbul. The staff were absolutely excellent throughout our stay. They attended to every need, were consistently welcoming each time we walked through the door, and carried themselves with total professionalism. Their English was perfect, which made communication so smooth. Their warm attitude genuinely elevated our experience.

Cons: The only downsides were that the room felt smaller than expected for a Queen Suite, and the air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted, so we weren’t able to control the room temperature ourselves.

Pros: I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend it for another three days! The staff were amazing — friendly, multilingual, and always ready to help. They even went out of their way to find an open pharmacy during a national holiday and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. The hotel itself is brand new, very comfortable, and offers a lovely city view. The room had excellent lighting and was always stocked with fresh drinking water. They also provide all the complimentary toiletries you may need. Overall, a wonderful experience — I’ll definitely be back!

Pros: Great stay! The hotel matched the description and fully met our expectations. Excellent service, very friendly staff, and delicious breakfasts with some variety. Loved the sea views from the terrace and dining room. The location was convenient with good transport options. It can be a bit noisy, and we wished for a bit more storage space/shelf, but overall, the location, price, and service were perfect!

Pros: All staffs are really kind especially osman he’s very helpful and Ali & ivan. they helped me around how to get to certain areas . Customer service was excellent . It was very very clean. Always making sure they deliver things to my room based on whenever needed

Pros: The hotel is really amazing, very clean, very comfortable bed, cosy and modern rooms. Great location for walking in the city. And the most exceptional thing is the staff, they honestly would do anything to make your stay super comfy and amazing, especially Sahan and his collegues they made our stay 10xtimes better. But in general hotel is great and i hope they will keep their service on this level. We really liked the breakfast, especially local cheeses, and in general it was fresh and tasty everyday.
