Very nice stay

Pros: As a previous guest of Palde hotel which now the owner change to dodo, they recognize our longterm stay there , we were offered a suite instead of normal room. Thanks to izzet , sinan and Umar for their hospitality. It’s our 8 times there as Palde - but first time as dodo guest , we are very happy with the new hotel and staff.

Cons: All was good.

Good location awkward getting a taxi to the door

Pros: No breakfast available at this time but a short walk away was a great little juice bar with a good range of foods at good prices

Cons: Local bars a bit of a RIP off Traders trying to overprice goods you have to be sharp some restaurants trying to over price food best going over to the Asian side if you like a drink and better fun

Really enjoyed our stay

Pros: Manager was great and other staff were all very accommodating. We ran into a small issue but hotel went to all lengths sort it all out. It was a boys trip and enjoyed my time there. Location is great only 10mins away from all attractions. Alot of shops nearby to buy anything.

Pros: I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Hotel Dodo! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality and professional service. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel’s location is perfect, close to key attractions yet peaceful enough to relax and unwind. I particularly appreciated the friendly atmosphere and the staff’s willingness to go above and beyond to assist with any request. Overall, Hotel Dodo exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay. I will definitely be returning!

Pros: I’ve had the best experience ever in Dodo hotel spa old city . People who work in this Hotel are extremely kind , respectful and very friendly. I felt very satisfied with everything. . If I ever wanted to come back to Istanbul for holiday. Dodo hotel will be my first option to choose.

Hotel was perfect location and clean rooms but the spa was a let up down and breakfast was basic.

Pros: The management of the hotel were amazing he put us in 2 great rooms that were cleaned everyday beautifully by the cleaning staff. The location was in the heart of Istanbul we walked to everything it was perfect. They helped us with bags and taxi booking to the airport.

Cons: The spa management were not so good which really upset me as we booked the hotel because I have 2 children and they love swiming, and the hotel had a swimming pool and spa. On our second night we are allowed to use pool for a hour each day that was the rule with the hotel. We were only in the pool 40mins the manager came and started shouting to get out. He was so rude and didn’t even listen to us telling him our hour is not up. This really upset my children and put us off from booking any spa treatments. We told the hotel management and he said it’s ok and apologised said we can use it after speaking to the rude Mohammed the manger of spa. But we did not get an apology off him for shouting and throwing us out of pool. Therefore we only used the pool one more time out of our 10 night stay. Totally unacceptable. Also the breakfast didn’t have much variety every time we went everything was empty even when we asked for a refill the lady did not speak English and didn’t help us. She was not very attentive to me and my family.

Great STAY in OLD town of SERKECI ISTANBUL

Pros: The FRONT OFFICE STAFF RECEPTION Mr.IZZAT,ARIF & RAJAB were very helpful and understanding and very great individuals. Everything is closeby local attractions Sultan Hemet Haya Sophia Eminonu Bazars and trams. Food area. DOMINOS McD and other chains. Will definitely go back as New management has taken over when we were leaving.

Cons: Breakfast time should be upto 10:45am Food menu needs to be changed and you need warm food. Swimming pool usage time restrictions should be taken off. As they co-operate with external SPA & MASSAGE services and they have no customer service manners. But Mr. IZZAT and Arif Resolved it. The pool is super cold and they open late for swimming and sauna around 11am. They time you for swimming and usage of sauna and steam. My kids were not happy. If you are just going for a short trip than it’s great. But avoid EXTERNAL purchasing the food at the restaurant outside the hotel as you’ll be hit with a big Bill that you never expected COZY RESTAURANT.
