Balat Historical House

Very well located building and responsive host.

Pros: The location was super close to the Balat touristy area, yet not very noisy due to its location two blocks away from the main street. There are plenty of food stalls nearby. The host was suppppeerr duppeeerrr helpful and on standby. We were accidentally locked out in the terrace, and Sahin was very responsive and did many things to help us out. Also, the fridge was full of food, my favorite was the instant noodles.

Pros: The host was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is located in a tourist area, and the neighbors are also very nice.

Pros: Helpful and extremely kind host, nice neighborhood, easy transport. Old house beautifully refreshed interior design and the fridge stuffed with food which comes very handy and comfortable.

Cons: Be prepared for the morning call for prayer.

Pros: Lovely to arrive to a nicely stocked fridge, and to see all the tourists outside taking pictures of the historic, colourful houses.

Cons: I didn't want to leave.

Pros: Everything was very well organized. A polite owner who is always in touch and ready to help. Very convenient location, nearby transport in any direction. Clean, comfortable. The refrigerator was stuffed with foods. Nearby are all locations for beautiful photos.

Will stay here again, good value for money

Pros: Perfect location, quirky little town house equipped with everything you need for a stay. Good price for what you getting

Cons: The smell inside was not pleasant however you get used after a little while

Pros: Nice, quiet and cozy place with a good location and easy checkin.

Cons: - the place is quite small (not like in the pictures) - it's right next to a mosque, so be ready to be woken up for prayer at 6.30 every morning - overall well equipped but could use a few things, like a toaster, some coffee, and at least 1 shelf in the bathroom - the breakfast option means that there's food in the fridge to prepare the breakfast - not a bad thing but would be nice to have it clearly written when booking

Pros: Stayed 2 nights. Nice location. Best price/quality rating. Left luggage in the room after check out which was very kind. The fridge was full of snacks.

Cons: Noisy street and neighbours above on the second floor

Pros: The location is perfect. It's really close to the center of Balat; only a few hundred meters to the main street of Balat neighbourhood, but quiet enough to have a good rest because the surrounding buildings are houses of the locals. The facilities are great, just like what Sahin has mentioned before Sahin is also really cooperative as a host. He informed us of any inconvenience that might occur, such as temporary electrical shutdown from the local authorities Overall, it is such a nice stay

Comfortable short stay

Pros: Located in Balat district with a charming neighborhood this small apartment had all amenities needed. Stayed for one night. Owner was very kind - we found water and some cake & coffee. 2 bedrooms - can sleep 4. Compact apartment but had all necessities. Equipped kitchen too.

Cons: Main bedroom was on ground floor on the façade so if one has light sleep, street noises might wake you up. Toilet and sink very small, though shower good size.
