Beautiful characteristic house in lively, historic neighbourhood near Bosphorus river

Pros: We had a fantastic time staying at Balat Rose. We loved staying in the Balat area, outside of the tourist centre where it's less chaotic but still within reach of everything. The house is beautifully restored and has everything you need. Volkan is a fantastic host that gave us lots of helpful information and extras for our stay, we really appreciated his help throughout our trip. We highly recommend the house for a group or family as it's spacious, has a well-equipped kitchen and nice living room and terrace to relax after expoloring the sites of Istanbul. There are supermarkets, restaurants and coffee shops on the doorstep but the house is on a quiet street, which was great. Highly recommended!

Cons: Nothing. If there are any issues, the host will address them immediately, he's really helpful and made sure there were no problems throughout our stay!
