Cute little hotel in a very good location.

Pros: Cute little hotel in a very good location. Everything is clean, and they brought us some fruits after the cleaning) Tram station and Marmaray station are very close. There are some pleasant coffee places around, lots of restorans. You can go to the sea by foot or by tram.

Pros: First time to choose hotel in Serkeci area, usualy i go to Taxim, but from now on i will go with Mr. Bird hotel. Let me tell you about front desk guys who were superior, very helpful and always welcoming like Mr. Korhan kara, helped me always with all my questions about locations and transport, very polite and smiling. Also, Mr. Ali at front desk. Breakfast was very good and you feel like you are at your home and your mom doing on daily basis her own unique cake receipe, also Mr. Muhamad at dinning room so amazing, very active and keep looking for any food missing and refill all plates and coffee machine all the time with big lovely smiling. House keeping 2 ladies were so good. Hotel very tiny but cosy, clean, comfortable and so close to tram station, Eminonu ferry and Marmaray underground. Highly recommended. If i will go again to visit Istanbul, forsure will reserve with Mr. Bird 😊

You can’t beat the fabulous Turkish hospitality

Pros: We recommend you stay in this lovely hotel. Centrally located to all major tourist attractions in the old city. We enjoyed walking and found it perfect for us. Very close to train and tram stops. The hotel’s staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Great transfer service to and from the airport. Lovely breakfast every morning. A lift to rooms if you have heavy bags.

Family-run hotel: basic, but cosy and nice

Pros: The staff was super friendly and nice. It's a family-run small hotel, maybe more like b&b, and they take great care and attention in their attitude. It was a nice feeling to stay there. The room was light and clean, with nice balcony. It was cleaned accurately every day, they provided water and fruits and were very helpful in general. The location is super central and close to everything: 2 mins away from marmaray, in walking proximity to most of the touristy places. The area around is fillied with restaurants - they are mostly very expensive and mediocre (tourist oriented strictly, as it often happens), but they have their kitchens open till very late, which was handy as I arrived very late at night due to a plane delay.

Cons: Breakfast was very basic. It was enough to eat and I am not generally too picky, but they were running out of main courses 1-2 hours before the breakfast was supposed to finish and did not renew them unless you ask for it. The bathroom is tiny and tired - the water in the shower constantly was losing pressure. It was coming back again, but the general experience seemed quite tricky.

Fantastic moderb, cosy hotel with attentive staff.

Pros: I travelled with my father and the hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of modern rooms, bathrooms, it was also spacious. The rooms were clean, quiet with sea view. The hotel went out of their way to answer our questions and making us feel welcome. We had fruit delivered to our rooms and they made us Turkish coffee. The breakfast consisted of homemade cakes, biscuits, eggs, mini pizzas, variety of cheese and breads. I will be returning to MR. Bird next time I am in Istanbul.

Good location

Pros: The hotel's location is very convenient, close to the main attractions and transportation means. The wifi works fine. There's a boiler and coffee and tea envelopes are provided.

Cons: The breakfast is served from 8am, so if you have a flight in the morning, you cannot catch it. Fortunately, I could convince the lady in charge to let me have breakfast at 7:30. The reception also works from 8, before that there's nobody at the front desk. Also, the hairdryer was about to die.

A warm atmosphere in this lovely family-run hotel is a home away from homr.

Pros: This is a small family-run hotel in the bustling Old City. It's in a great location in the middle of the action and close to key transit routes yet it has a nice neighbourhood vibe. The rooms are clean and well appointed, and there's a nice breakfast room and good breakfast. I have celiac disease and the staff made gluten free options available for me. I was ill when I arrived, and the staff were so kind to me throughout my four night stay. They brought me fruit and water and I felt better knowing these lovely people were nearby.

Cons: Everything was terrific.
