Charming location and hotel

Pros: I loved this hotel. Brilliant location and charming building. Restaurants at the doorstep. Overall it made me very happy to stay here.

Cons: My room had been given to someone else on check in and it took some time to find a suitable equivalent room late at night. I chose a room when I booked as I needed a room with access to a lift and didn’t end up with this which was difficult with my baggage.

Everything is good, the price-quality ratio is justified, the accommodation is very good.

Pros: The location is great. All the holy shrines are literally a few dozen meters away. Breakfast is standard for hotels, nothing extraordinary, everything is good. It was very nice that there was a kettle, a tray and a cup in the room. The hotel has wonderful staff, kind, responsive and unobtrusive - 12 points out of 12!

Cons: Soundproofing could be better, but this is a standard shortcoming of many hotels. Wooden doors to the rooms do not contribute to soundproofing.

A comfortable stay in the heart of historical Istanbul

Pros: We enjoyed our stay at Sari Konak very much. The room was lovely and quiet, the bed was very comfortable, the service was flawless and the breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Bosphorus was exactly how I imagined our stay in Istanbul. The location is the best if you’d like to be close to the historical attractions, in the heart of Sultan Ahmet. Thank you all for welcoming us to your beautiful place!

Wonderful location and amazing staff

Pros: Loved our stay here, staff where so friendly and accomodating and honestly I don't think you can get better value for money with this location! So easy to walk everywhere, you step out the front door and are in the heart of the hustle nd bustle (and it's not noisy at all in the rooms) and even if you wanted to explore further afield the tram was easy walking distance too.

Cons: Some parts although traditional style could do with a little spruce, however this is so minor and the staff and the location definitely outweigh the mildly dated aspects. Will 100% stay here again and couldn't recommend more.

A lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet. Wonderful staff and an excellent breakfast.

Pros: Service from the excellent staff. Superb breakfast. Location.

Cons: There was one night when they had some issues with the water so we had to wait for them to turn on the water mains.

Brilliant… cant wait to recommend it to friends!

Pros: Huge bedrooms with great bathrooms, friendly and helpful staff, really funky old Istanbul neighbourhood with many ethnic food restaurant, central to the Blue Mosque and many other top tourist spots. Amazing breakfast on a cool rooftop terrace!
