Blue House Hotel Old City - Sultanahmet

Pros: Everything was perfect! We truly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were comfortable, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the location was ideal for exploring the city. We felt very welcomed and will definitely recommend your hotel to friends and family!

Pros: This hotel is very convenient to stay with your family. Definitely we shall stay again.

Pros: The location is great and the breakfast too, though the coffee at the buffet wasn't great.

Cons: The first night we were in room 102 or something like that was above the restaurant bar. It was super noisy and we struggled to sleep. I had to go 2 times downstairs to ask to put the volume down or change room . It was only until 1:00 or 2:00 am that we finally managed to sleep. It was our first night after a long flight and we didn't appreciate it at all ,being deprived of the possibility to rest properly, which is what one expects when paying for a hotel. The second night was better , however I'd rather recommend room 136 less noise and a beautiful view there is where we stayed after coming back from the Asian part. Also , I got a message 2 months before going for transport from the airport to the hotel , I never confirmed and one day before our arrival they ask for some info I thought for the hotel, later one they wrote me to WhatsApp saying that a taxi was going to way for me . I didn't like that either and luckily managed to write them and said I didn't authorize any taxi . They said ok ,but however I felt a bit tricked, which I also don't love.

Pros: The hotel staff and the location are excellent. Everything is within walking distance, and the Blue Mosque is visible directly from the hotel room.

Cons: The room and bathroom were on the smaller side, which made movement a bit limited, especially with luggage.

Great little hotel very close to the Blue Mosque.

Pros: The location for the major historical sites in Istanbul was excellent, with The Blue Mosque being right opposite, Hagia Sophia being 5-7 minutes walk away and the Basilica Cistern the same. Bottled, still water was provided free of charge during our stay and the room was cleaned and towels changed every day.

Cons: Our room for 3 people was not very spacious, but that wasn't a big problem because we didn't spend much time in it as we were busy sightseeing. Breakfast was included, which was great, but the food choices on offer were limited and quite basic. No other complaints.

Historical and shopping

Pros: Great staff, amazing location and everything around you.

Pros: Excellent location! Very close to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque (just a street away). And a very easy walk to Sultanahmet tram station. Also very close to the Hvist-11 (Airport Shuttle) for a cheap & convenient way to get to the airport. Rooms were relatively clean & tidy, so is the bathroom. They also have a rooftop area with beautiful views that overlooks the Hagia Sophia

Absolute value for money deal.

Pros: Location is excellent, hagia sophia,blue mosque,topcapi palace are just 5mins walking distance from the hotel. Grand bazar is only 10-12 mins walk while spice bazar is 15-17mins . Almost all must see places are within short walking distance including eminunu bosphorus cruises.

Cons: Most of the electric ports didn’t worked well,specially the bed side ones 😢

Great location in the old town

Pros: The location of the Blue House is excellent, so close to everything. The staff were all friendly and helpful and we loved the roof terrace!

Cons: Our room on the top floor was quite noisy due to the proximity to the roof terrace on the nights there was a dj up there.
