Bentley Hotel Old City-Special Class

Great value central location

Pros: Location is fantastic, short walk to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Tram stop for T1 just around the corner, lots of shops and restaurants, Grand Bazaar also a short walk. Cons: Couple of little things, I'm a light sleeper so admittedly I'm easily disturbed when trying to sleep. The walls are thin, could hear everything my neighbours did. There are motions lights in bedroom and bathroom, both kept beeping and shining a red light, quite annoying in a dark room. The phone by the bed projects a lot of light when the room is dark, I had to unplug it. The connection for the phone line is right by the pillow on the bed, this gives off a constant buzz. Also there was quite a loud machine running all night, every night, don't know if this was a washing machine or heating system, but it was loud. Ear plugs are a must when staying.

It’s clean and modern and the staff is very friendly

Pros: It’s very close to the Grandbazaar and all tourist activities

Best location, very small room.

Pros: The location was perfect, near everything in the old city, and with T1 you could easily reach the other side of the Golden Horn. The personnel was helpful, Can, the receptionist was eager to help us and his collegue gave us a hand with the luggages.

Cons: The room was extremely small, eventhough we had a “deluxe” room.

The staff and location alone are worth the stay!

Pros: The location is absolutely fantastic. And our room was beautifully decorated. The staff is very kind and accommodating. At 5 am when we had a little concern about whether our Transfer was going to show up or not, they jumped straight into action to ensure a smooth trip to the airport. Would stay here again.

Cons: I have to agree with some reviews that I saw before. Although this hotel is a magnificent four star, I wouldn’t necessarily call it five. The lack of bar and real lobby is slightly disappointing. We stayed in the presidential suite and although it had a magnificent balcony, I wouldn’t so it was a presidential suite and compared to others we have stated in the past.

Pros: Everything was perfect. The staff were wonderful, hotel overall was very clean and the location was perfect. We will definitely be back to stay at the Bentley hotel. Loved it!!
