Meroddi Galata Mansion

Pros: I've been to Istanbul few times, but this would be my favorite accommodation so far. The location is superb, with attractions, eateries and transport links just on the doorstep. The hotel itself is superb, with beautiful decor and amazing staff- especially Peyvand. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay- starting with providing useful information ahead of our arrival and a thoughtful welcome card and souvenir. When she found out it's my birthday, she got a beautiful and delicious cake delivered to our room! Staff always greeting with a friendly smile, even when returning at 2am from a night out. The room and bathroom are pretty, clean, and comfortable. The double bed is huge and the sheets top quality. Breakfast was plenty and varied, with fresh herbs and salad which I love, and barista made coffee. There are plenty of craft shops nearby with most gorgeous jewelry and ceramics, make sure to drop in and admire. Would absolutely come again.

Cons: Nothing to dislike, it's been a wonderful short stay at Meroddi.

Highly recommend this hotel if you want to feel truly seen!

Pros: Words cannot express how much I loved this hotel. The breakfast was great, the rooms were clean, and the location was perfect. Not only did we receive a welcome gift, but the incredible staff also surprised me with a birthday cake and a letter, making my birthday even more special. We were also offered a lunch box because on our last day we weren’t able to have breakfast at the hotel, so Peyvand kindly arranged one for us. All the staff were so friendly and kind, but I especially want to say a massive thank you to Peyvand, who has been such a wonderful host. I would also like to mention Eren and Rovsen, who were very helpful and fun to talk to. Turkish hospitality is definitely on a different level! If we ever come back to Istanbul, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!!

Pros: Our stay at the hotel was excellent in every aspect. One of its biggest advantages is the location, as it is situated in a very nice area, right next to the metro station and within walking distance of the Galata Tower, which makes getting around the city very easy. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The room was comfortable, quiet, and cleaned daily. Breakfast was rich, offering a wide variety of good-quality options to suit different tastes. A special mention goes to the staff, who were extremely polite, professional, and always available to help, whether with information about the city or anything we needed during our stay. Overall, this hotel offers a great combination of comfort, cleanliness, excellent location, and outstanding service. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again on a future visit to Istanbul

Wonderful Stay at Meroddi

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Meroddi. The location is excellent, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and everything was well organized. Special thanks to Peyvand at the reception—she was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Her professionalism and kindness made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended, and we would happily stay here again.

Pros: This was our second stay, and once again everything was excellent! The facility was spotless, as always, the service was amazing, and the breakfast offered plenty of options. Most importantly, all the staff were outstanding—friendly and always eager to help with anything we needed. Special thanks to Jila for arranging such a lovely surprise for my mom’s birthday, to the housekeeping team for keeping our room immaculate, to the chef who took great care of us, to the bar staff for the excellent cappuccino, and especially to Mike from the guest relations team, who is always cheerful and ready to assist. We’re looking forward to seeing you again very soon!

Amazing stay great value great location!

Pros: Amazing location you can see Galata Tower from the road outside the hotel literally a 1-2 minutes walk. But the best were the staff!!! Never seen so friendly staff in all my many stays so far around the world! Awesome people 🙂

Pros: Great location, friendly staff, and very good breakfast.

Cons: The bathroom has no window and has a slight smell of mold.

Pros: Central location,close to metro station. The staff was very kind and helpful, the room clean and the breakfast buffet amazing!

Cons: The room was a little smaller than expected and there were no soundproofing windows..luckily, the street was pretty quiet for such a touristic neighbourhood..

Pros: It was very nice and clean. Location is great near Galata tower, Istiklal street and metro station. Staf are very kind and nice. They prepared us a small welcome gift and card. Breakfast was great and it had very good and fresh food.

Cons: It was hot in the room and the window couldn’t open well.

Pros: Everything! The staff was great, very helpful and kind towards children. Our family really enjoyed the stay and the interaction and help from Gila, Ahmed and others. The location is perfect, and breakfast excellent. I would come back again.

Cons: The walls between the rooms could have better sound proof isolation. Our room didn't have street view, it was quite dark. However, spaceous enough.
