Hot Budget Ortakoy

Great location, Great value, very comfortable.

Pros: Nice boutique, shabby chic style. Very clean, but some recent repair work left a very musty smell in the bathroom that dissipated over the days I stayed. Comfortable bed, quality linens and towels. Hotels (buildings in general in Turkey) do not have much sound insulation. Noise will be dictated by who's in the rooms around you. I got very, very lucky. The location of Hot is right in the centre of Ortakoy but just off the main road, 3 mins walk to the mosque on the Bosphorous, I did not get disturbed by traffic noise once. I had five nights of excellent VFM.

Cons: The smell in the bathroom and the shower door needed a little attention as it wouldn't shut properly. And a slightly better shower head. These issues did not detract from my comfort and for the money I do not think anyone would complain.

Safe hotel

Pros: I really liked the stay at the place, it felt very homely, the hotel managers are very friendly and try to give you the attention at all times. I traveled alone and they were very respectful of my stay there, I recommend it too much.

Pros: Quite tiny, but really comfortable room. Everything was really clean. I really like the design of the room and shared area. There is historical building located in very good place. In just few minutes by walking you may reach crowded locations with many restaurants and cafe's. Also, just in 2 minutes you may reach a ferry boat piers.

Great location, you get what you pay for, worth for a short stay

Pros: You get what you pay for, a decent sized room with a small washroom. The beds were big and comfy. the daily staff was very friendly and helpful even walked us to some restaurants . Location is great and in close proximity to a lof of things that you could just walk to. Overall would recommend for short stay

Cons: There was a foul smell in the shower that was quite unbearing, but i do think this is an issue with Istanbul in general because of their complicated yet old sewage system. We were charged extra - so check your credit cards- with a bit of a conversation and claiming it was because of the exchange rate- they did rectify it and gave us back money in liras. The location is great, but it comes with traffic- if you need to get there with a taxi- be prepared to walk extra to get a taxi that is not going to scam you because you're in the busiest part

Pros: Very cosy appartment with brilliant host- he waits until almost midnight for us! Thank you. Inside the small hotelbis a Cafè-Bar where you can have fresh brewn coffee in the morning.

Cons: little bit hard to find

Pros: Small and family type hotel with personal approach to each guest.

Pros: El staff muy amable, la decoración diferente, el mini split funcionaba muy bien, me encantó el té que te ofrecen en las mañanas y la flexibilidad para guardar equipaje

Cons: El asiento de la taza del baño era de menor tamaño que la taza y la regadera no tenía puerta lo que hacía que saliera mucha agua al bañarse, además que no hay limpieza del cuarto durante la estancia

Pros: The hotel is clean and conveniently located near everything you might need during your stay, such as the ferry and public transport. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly ,special thanks to them for their help throughout my stay

Pros: Excellent rapport qualité-prix, hôtel très bien situé, chambres confortables, personnel agréable.

Super Aufenthalt, Bis zum nächsten mal :)

Pros: Mein 2. Aufenthalt hier gewesen. Mir gefällt die Lage Mitten in Ortaköy sehr. Istanbul feeling bekommt man hier zu spüren. 2 Gehminuten entfernt ist die Bushaltestelle und 4 Minuten die Fähre. Es gibt viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Essens Möglichkeiten. Nachts braucht man keine Angst haben, da 24/7 Polizisten den Ort überwachen. Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, man hat alles was man braucht und es ist sehr sauber. Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist eher wie ne kleine Wohnung für dich alleine, statt ein Hotel. Zimmer sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Ich hab mich sehr wohl gefühlt hier als Frau alleine zu übernachten.

Cons: Es kann an Wochenenden etwas lauter werden auf den Straßen. Mich hat es aber nicht gestört.
