Perfect location, comfortable beds, and friendly staff

Pros: The hotel is located in a perfect location, it is very clean, the bathroom is completely new, and the reception staff are very welcoming and kind. I booked a budget room and received more than I expected.

Cons: The sound insulation of the room was a bit poor, at least in my case. It didn’t bother me because I use earplugs for Sleeping.

Overall Loved Staying There

Pros: Hotel was good. Staff was amazing. The person at counter in morning was really helpful and polite. Loved staying there. Will definitely stay at this hotel anything I am in Istanbul.

Cons: Cleaning staff did not clean the room well. All they did was straighten bedsheet and wiped the floor of washroom. Otherwise everything was great.

Good for short stays

Pros: Worth the money. Don’t expect luxury but it was good value for the location. Closer to train station so it would be easier to get to and from the IST airport. Tram station is close by too. Number of shops and restaurants to try near by. Not suitable for wheel chair users or elders as there is some walking to do. Room is a little narrow but good for a stay if you are going to be spending most of the time outside.

Pleasant Stay & Accessible Location

Pros: I had two reservations at Vardar Hotel, and both stays were pleasant. The receptionist, Birol, was very helpful and always welcomed us with a warm smile. The room is suitable for travelers who spend most of their day outside. The room and bathroom are a bit small, but they fit the purpose well. The location is excellent—just a 2–3 minute walk to the train station and Taksim Square. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Istanbul.

Cons: Recommendation: It would be great if the bathroom included a few basic travel essentials, such as a shower cap, cotton pads,etc
