Acra Hotel - Special Category

Lovely hotel, excellent location and friendly staff.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Acra hotel! The location was fantastic, close to the main tourist sites i.e. the Blue Mosque, topkapi place and Hagia Sophia within minutes walking distance, but without the noise and hustle and bustle of the busy streets. The hotel was clean and cosy, traditional and simple and felt homely. The staff were fantastic, from the front desk staff Younis and Emre (Mert), to the lovely cleaners who were all so helpful and accommodating. We really appreciate that you made our stay comfortable and we will hopefully be staying at the Acra hotel again in the future! Thank you and best wishes, Aishah and the Uddin family :)

Pros: The welcome reception was exceptional, friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean and the hotel was close to restaurants and markets and 7 mins walk away from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Basilica Cistern

Overall, a great hotel that met our needs. Try it for yourselves, you won't be disappointed.

Pros: The staff were very pleasant and helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The location could not have been better. It was very central, close to all the main tourist sites and surrounded by high quality eating places which were inexpensive.

Cons: The breakfast was an area for improvement. Some staff were very helpful, while others were slow to respond. The food was not always as fresh as possible and if eating late we had to ask for some foods to be replenished. Some staff were just not on the ball. Management was responsive to concerns raised.

A great boutique hotel, perfect for a stay in Sultan Ahmet.

Pros: A really lovely boutique hotel in Sultan Ahmet, just a stone’s throw from major attractions. Staff were really nice and welcoming, and keen to assist. Our room was clean and tidy overlooking the Bosphorus tonight Asian side. Nearby restaurants had great food and atmosphere.

I would recommend this hotel and won’t mind staying there again.

Pros: The location is very good, very close to Blue mosque & Aya Sofia. There are shops and restaurants nearby.

Cons: The lighting could be better to compete with the other new hotels.

Pros: Helpful staff, excellent facilities. Nice to have a balcony. Felt peaceful even though right in the middle of everything.

Exceptional

Pros: Rooms were exceptionally clean and very spacious. Staff were so helpful, friendly and professional. No problem with wifi. Great choice for breakfast. Within walking distance to all the tourist attractions.

Cons: No garden although there is an out front table and chairs
