Otel Kadıköy

Pros: Excellent location at Kadikoy. It is located 5min away from the Havaist bus station that connects the area with the airport. Also, there are many restaurants and cafés on the region.

Cons: Wifi wasn't really stable.

Pros: Friendly welcoming staff, comfy bed, has everything you need and in a great location!

What a wonderful stay at this beautiful, historic hotel in Kadıköy!

Pros: The receptionist was very kind and helpful. While I was waiting to check in, she brought me a delicious Turkish coffee. She even upgraded me to a bigger room with a balcony. The room was very clean and had a lovely atmosphere. The location was great and the price was good too. Thank you, Otel Kadıköy, for this very pleasant stay.

Great apartment

Pros: The apartment was nice, clean, and comfortable. We had a great view in the inner courtyard with palm trees, where we could enjoy our morning coffee and evening. The staff was also kind & nice, and made sure that we had an easy trip

Lovely hotel but I’d avoid the basement / garden room

Pros: The hotel is in a great location, really close to the ferry port and lots of shops and food places near by. Very easy to get to from Istanbul airport if you get the Havaist coach (we took the metro to the hotel from the airport and it was hard work, not well sign posted, the payment cards were mind boggling 😂. We got the coach back to the airport and it was sooo much easier!) The room and hotel was nice and clean, and staff are very friendly.

Cons: We had the basement room with the garden. We didn’t use the garden at all, it wasn’t very clean & was in constant shade. The room was very dark as it’s surrounded by other buildings, so we had the lights on all the time. The bathroom is a tight squeeze if you’re a tall / big person 😂 I don’t know about other rooms, but you can hear everyone walking around above the basement rooms, ear plugs don’t block it out. There was something near the door that flashed a green light constantly - not a big deal really, but it’s very bright at night.

Enjoyed our 5 day stay

Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful the accommodation was central to bus/metro/train/trams also shopping and restaurants extra both close to authentic turkish bath house.

Cons: We were on the bottom floor so was quite noisy especially with a young child upstairs above our room you could hear everything. If you jad earplugs that would have been fine.

Overall Good stay.. there is always room for improvement if guest feedback are read carefully

Pros: The hotel is in a very central location; the staff are friendly and helpful (except for the lady of Russian origin—she hardly smiles). We stayed in a family room (middle floor) since there were 4 of us—the room is quite spacious. The only problem I can say is that the sound insulation is not good because it is an old building, and you can hear the guests walking on the upper floor. Secondly, the fly screens on the windows are not fitted properly (there are gaps). We could never open the windows because of mosquitoes (the air conditioning was always on in the evenings). It is very important to be able to open the windows in the middle of summer and for mosquitoes not to enter the room. It will be great if hotel management looks into this and repairs the fly screens & put mosquito catchers or candles should be placed in all rooms for guests comfort.

Beautiful Hotel in Kadikoy

Pros: Wonderful triple room. Very comfortable, right in the heart of trendy Kadioky but also just 5mins away to the ferry stop to the European side. I preffered staying around Kadioky though. The staff were wonderful and helpful. We had a gorgeous balcony that we made the most of and fed the cats there too.

Cons: The bathroom in our room was tiny. 😆 But I would 100% stat here again anyway

Amazing place for good price

Pros: Great place to stay, easy get to from Sabiha airport and can easily access to west side by ferry or Marmaray. Very central location and more affordable alternative European side while being able to access all of it easily.

Cons: Room is great and very clean. Only thing I can mention is, while it is not an issue functionally, ecstatically, might be good invest more to bathroom finish as the work done for sealing around seems not well done, and fixing the showering screen so it wouldn’t leak outside

Great quality, location and price with minimal negatives

Pros: The price/quality ratio was great! The location is awesome for both exploring the European and Asian sides of Istanbul since it is just a few minutes from the ferry. The room was spacious and tidy, modestly but beautifully decorated. Blackout blinds! You’re about to get some good sleep if you don’t set an alarm 😆

Cons: The hotel was rather noisy. We were on the first floor and could hear people moving in the upper floors as well as the piping from time to time. The staff, albeit friendly and as helpful as they could, did not speak English and communication was difficult.
