Sidonya Hotel

Pros: In my favourite part of the city. Beautiful cafés and music venue just around the corner. Splendid view from the breakfast room

It was nice, but some small improvements will do perfectly.

Pros: The location was great, the view from my window which partially included the sea was beautiful. The staff was pleasant, and even though some of them require some English improvements, they were always interested of helping the tourist.

Cons: 1. The internet was awfuf! Sometimes the signal was week, rarely a bit strong and sometimes it was gone totally. 2. I’m aware that for New Year’s Eve the prices on hotels were expensive, but giving the fact of paying 78EUR for a small single room,if there was a teapot in the room - couple of teabags, coffee and sugar would’ve been appreciated as on most of 3* hotels.

Pros: Perfect location, not far from Metro and ferry. The hotel was clean and the breakfast nice and reach of options.

Great place to stay.

Pros: Great location, a short walk from the bus, ferry, and metro stations, as well as from the Kadikoy market area full of restaurants and shops. The hotel is well maintained and serves a great breakfast with a fabulous view of the bay from the dining hall. Rooms are good and comfortable. Would certainly recommend.

Cons: A pretty steep climb up to the hotel, but the view from the dining hall makes up for it.

Most enjoyable

Pros: Good quiet room.Excellent breakfast also with stunning view. Easy walking distance to ferry connections .

Pros: The location is perfect, the staff is welcoming and very friendly, but the highlight of the stay was definitely the breathtaking view of the Sea of Marmara and the Bosphorus during breakfast.

Great location, friendly, comfortable

Pros: Great location in a quiet street halfway between the hipster neighbourhood uphill and the bus station, ferry terminals and cheap eats down at the port. The staff were always very helpful. There are great views from the rooms on the top floor where they also have the dining area. It's recommended to check in as early as possible (12pm sharp) to boost your chances of getting a room with a sea view.

Cons: It would have been great if they could have stocked some bottled beer and kept it really cold! During our stay they only had smaller cans that were not very cold.

Pros: Location is perfect, within a few minutes of walking close distance to the bus station and ferry port. Acess by car is easy There are shops to cater for all needs food, clothes and eating. Will stay her again.

Cons: They did not have a toaster in the breakfast area and these had to be requested and charged for. There is no iron provided in the rooms. An ironing service is available at a cost. For those with physical disabilities, the location requires walking up a steep road but it is accessible by taxi.

Stay here for the best of the Asian side activity. Rooms are acceptable but the buffet breakfast is a total winner.

Pros: On the Asian side and a short walk from all the back street eateries. A fantastic buffet breakfast in a restaurant that looks out over the bay.

Cons: Seemed a bit expensive for the quality of the room and other facilities

Pros: We had a great stay at Sidonya Hotel. The location is perfect, with a beautiful sea view that made our mornings special. The breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety of tasty options. The room was cozy and had everything we needed, even if it was a bit small. Everything was very clean, and the housekeeping staff did an amazing job every day. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. We would definitely stay here again!
