Danis Hotel & Spa Istanbul - Old City

The thing that makes this hotel stand out and has me returning again and again is the staff, in particular Emre and Bayr

Pros: This is the third time I have stayed here and as always the staff were first class, kind, warm and always welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them and I always feel Like I’m visiting friends not a hotel.

Cons: Sadly my room was very dark and it needed either more lights in the room or new brighter bulbs.

Central, friendly staff and very good value for money.

Pros: It’s central and handy for shops and restaurants. Only 15 minutes on foot to the Grand Bazaar. Staff were brilliant and the spa was great value for €20. We got the entire area to ourselves. Breakfast was fine and the hotel organized a very professional pick up and drop off service to the airport.

Cons: Rooms were a little hot, but that’s just personal preference.

We enjoyed our stay and would love to come and book again in the future

Pros: Amazing and friendly staff, as soon as you step in to the hotel you feel their respect towards their guests. Professional and kind staff. When it comes to cleanliness,no complaints at all!! If I revisit Istanbul again I will definatelly stay at Danis Hotel.. High quality Service for affordable price. Highly recommend to everyone!

Pros: Very good hotel with excellent value for money. The reception staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Bayram Varsay for the warm hospitality. The hotel is located about a 20-minute walk from Hagia Sophia, and the walk is very pleasant and easy. In the surrounding area you can find everything you need, such as grocery stores, restaurants, and currency exchange offices. We will definitely return.

Cons: There is smoking inside the hotel which woke me up both mornings. I am unsure if smoking is allowed in the rooms or if the staff is smoking inside the hotel, but there was enough smoking to wake me up early in the morning.

Pros: Location is good very easy to go tram station. Breakfast is amazing. And nice staff. especially receptionists Emre Soyoz and Balram
