Malaysia 🇲🇾

Pros: I had an excellent experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk from popular attractions like the Blue Mosque, making it super convenient to explore the city. It’s also easily accessible from the Sultanahmet tram stop, which makes traveling around a breeze. The hostel is very affordable and offers great value, especially with the included breakfast, which was delicious. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with anything I needed. I will definitely be coming back on my next visit to Istanbul and will highly recommend Sultan Hostel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Pros: In general good and value for money. Helpful staff.

Cons: There are few basic improvements needed, simple but that make big difference. Issues need addressing are: no cloth hooks in bath room, bunk beds - top ones don't have a shelf ( to keep mob, eye glasses etc) - a must. Even lights can be individual with screens to close so one won't disturb others.

Pros: The view from the rooftop was fine and the breakfast was good for the money and the hostel was only 5minutes walk from sultan hamet tram stop and right in the middle of bar's and café on your doorstep

Cons: The rooftop had no seating area to enjoy the view and no kitchen for making snacks or hot drinks no laundry service available

Pros: I loved everything! It’s very clean, comfortable, has a wonderful view to the sea! It’s also in the city centre so all the main sights are super close :) I’ve also met many nice people in this hostel and really enjoyed breakfast!

Cons: The owner is an amazing man, very kind and helpful. Sadly, I had a not very nice conversation with a receptionist who was very much russophobic or just extremely into the politics and philosophy stuff (good for him, no need to tell me) which in my opinion shouldn’t be a thing in such a situation
