Pros: I am a tourist from Malaysia. If you are planning to visit Istanbul, staying at Antique Hostel is a must. The location is very close to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, and you can easily walk there. The hostel owner is extremely kind. We booked 3 days in a private room and another 3 days in a shared room, but the owner upgraded us to 6 days in a private room for our comfort. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. The breakfast here is excellent, especially because it is served on the rooftop with a beautiful sea view. The room is clean and comfortable. If I come to Istanbul again, I will definitely stay at this hotel again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Decent Hostel
Pros: Hostel is clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was nice and the best part was the lady in kitchen: She was always smiling and trying to help u though she doesn’t understand English. Location is very close to all attraction’s in Sultanahmet.
Cons: Reception guys are sometimes nice sometimes not :(

Pros: You can really tell that the structure of the building is truly original and was lived by some members of the staff. The position is just perfect especially if you’re traveling from the IST airport. The bus drop you 2 min walk from the hostel. The reception is always there being very nice and kind. The lady of the breakfast is amazing, a true mom of everyone. The food is freshly cooked and delicious. The roof top then allow you to enjoy the Bosforo in a peaceful environment.
Cons: Some dormitories are on the basement (was not a huge problem for me) I enjoyed being there with a bunch of new friends. Those rooms are completely fine but if you are planning to spend a lot of time in the hostel just ask to stay upstairs (it’s just nicer)

Pros: I spent more than a month in Antique Hostel 3 years ago, this time I was back for 10 days, and next time I'm in Istanbul I will stay there again. I genuinly believe that you won't find better value for the money anywhere in Istanbul. The location is perfect, the female dorm has its own private bathroom, the beds are confortable, the breakfast, well everyday I looked foreward to it, the staff are all nice and the view from the upper room worth the price on its own.
Cons: As the hostel isn't responsible for what some guests do and don't do, nothing.

Overall, our stay was wonderful, although the room was different from what we booked.
Pros: Our stay was really wonderful overall. The hotel has a great atmosphere, and everything was clean and comfortable. The beds were very cozy, the breakfasts were delicious, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful — always ready to assist with a smile. The common area is warm and welcoming, and the rooftop terrace is absolutely amazing, offering beautiful views in all four directions.
Cons: The only disappointment was that instead of the standard double room with one bed that we had booked, we were given a triple room with a bunk bed. Because of it, we couldn’t get to the window, and the view was just a wall with air conditioners. It wasn’t what we expected, but we didn’t want to waste time and energy changing the room. We had to pay in cash at check-in, as our card was not accepted. Apart from that, everything was great — a wonderful place with excellent value for money.

Pros: All went smooth. Friendly owners / staff. Food was basic but for the still good enough and filling. Excellent value for money.
Cons: Few minor improvements like shelf near bed to keep stuffs, things like this can be improved.
