YOLO Hostel

Pros: The room was nice and comfy . The guy working there was super friendly. The street is calm. Just around the corner. You can find really beautiful cafes . And the location is just great.

Cons: Lots of stairs . Bed too soft

Awesome location, too staff and very cool building

Pros: It’s location is ideal - right amongst the foodie area of Istanbul and only a short ferry trip over to the crowed tourist areas.

Cons: As a hostel it’s awesome but one guy was living there full time and made the dorm feel like a boarding house.

Would 100% stay again

Pros: Amazing location in the heart of Kadiköy, close to great restaurants, bars and cafes. The staff are knowledgable and helpful (I’ve stayed twice!), the facilities are clean and comfortable, the 24 hour check in is also a bonus. Thank you to Ren and the team, I’ll see you next time.

Cons: My only gripe with the hostel are the top bunks. I’m average height and can’t sit up in them. Other than that, a great place to stay.

Nice, good value hostel in the heart of Kadıköy - what's not to like?

Pros: My dormitory was spacious, with a good bathroom, fridge freezer, and tea-making facilities. Right in the heart of Kadıköy Helpful staff Curtains, light & power sockets with each bunk Sizeable locker Good value

Pros: Amazing staff really clean place with perfect beds and a lovely cafe that serves great breakfasts and drinks, best hostel I’ve ever stayed in 100 percent recommended

Lovely hostel!

Pros: Lots of great things - lovely staff, great area, nice rooms and beds, kitchenettes in rooms, brilliant coffee!

Cons: More space in the common area would be lovely, but it’s a very minor complaint!

My favourite hostel in Istanbul, perfect for solo travelers.

Pros: Incredible friendly staff, always up for a chat and open to give suggestions. The location is perfect. Not directly in the most crowded street, so you don't have any outside noise. Cosy lobby where you can have breakfast and meet other travelers. I stayed in a 6 person dorm room and it was quite spaceous.

Cons: The water purification didnt work and the towels are an extra charge. Besides that, I had a perfect stay here.

Nice hostel in a good location

Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating, and the hostel is in a great location (just a few minutes walk from the heart of Kadikoy, and within walking distance of buses, trains, ferries and the metro). The garden is a nice additional space to have access to. My room (six bed mixed dorm) was spacious and had a small kitchenette, which was useful.

Cons: The bathrooms get wet and dirty quite quickly when the room is at full occupancy. I also had some concerns about safety. The neighbourhood seemed safe, but you could walk from the street all the way up to and into my dorm without needing a key, as most doors in the hostel are left unlocked.
