A perfect night in a place steeped in history

Pros: We came to spend one night. The place is magnificent, well-maintained, welcoming. The owner is very kind, gives us really good advices, she is very attentive. I would add that we are two women and that we felt completely safe, both on the island and in the accommodation.

Perfect escape

Pros: Perfect situation for walking through the Ancient Red Pine Forest, seeing Whoopoes, picking herbs, swimming two minutes away in the clearest water you could imagine (cold now but will be warm). If you want you can walk up the hill and through the forest into town, smell the herbs and watch the butterflies. And there are no cars on this island apart from police cars which drive very slowly. Hele is also a great host.

A lovely quaint hotel to relax on a Mediterranean island an hour ferry from Istanbul

Pros: Me and my grandmother had a lovely peaceful stay at the hotel last week. We stayed two nights and found it the perfect place to relax in Buyukada after a busy stay in Istanbul. The breakfast was delicious both mornings and we were delighted to find a group of cats who welcomed us back to the hotel every time we left. Hale was very hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed such as cay when we arrived and that our TV worked when we wanted to watch the football game!

Cozy accommodations and a genuinely helpful and kind owner

Pros: Our stay at Orhan Kutbayin Evi was an absolute delight. It's rare to find a place that not only meets but exceeds your expectations, and this charming retreat did just that. If you're seeking a cozy getaway with exceptional hospitality, look no further than this hidden gem. We can't wait to return and experience it all over again.

Pros: A very lovely, cozy, and quiet place to relax. Hale and her family welcomed us so warmly into their home. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. We also had a terrace and a kitchen, which we shared with the guests from the neighboring room. Another great bonus was that we could use the washing machine for a small fee. Hale told us about the island and the history of the house, and gave us great recommendations about nearby beaches. She was always available and ready to help, and we truly felt her care throughout our entire stay. I highly recommend staying with her if you’re planning a trip to Büyükada. We’ll definitely come back to Hale when we return to Turkey. Thank you, dear Hale, for creating such a wonderful atmosphere during our vacation in your home!

Great place!

Pros: Wonderful hostess! As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable. The atmosphere was so relaxed and welcoming. I’d absolutely recommend it and will definitely be coming back!

Pros: Месторасположение, рядом остановка, есть возможность готовить. Холодильник вместительный. По домашнему уютно, Постельное белье, мебель хорошие, чистенько.

Cons: Жили на мансарде, из за высокого роста и пришлось ходить присогнутыми. Супруг не влезал в душ в прямом смысле из за полной комплекции. Были трудности в общении из за языкового барьера. Проезд в центр на автобусе и пляж рядом дорого очень

Pros: Гостепреимство хозяйки дома, уют, расположение гостевого дома. Милый добрый дом в тихом месте Бююкада в 20ти минутах ходьбы от пристани. Если повезет с соседями, то лучшего места нет. Общая кухня, в которой есть все необходимое можно приготовить обед или ужин, завтрак у нас входил в стоимость (чай, кофе, очень вкусный сыр, турецкий симит, яйцо, масло, оливки) мы были довольны. Общая терасса с великолепно цветущим кустарником, интернет на террасе и в доме, компания дружелюбных котов и кошек. Рядом два пляжа: Низам- 500лир - маленький и вход в воду с бетонного пирса, но хозяин делает презенты в виде бесплатного турецкого кофе с печеьем, водичкой или лимонадом и второй пляж в 10ти минутах 700лир в будни и 900лир в выходные с песчаным входом в воду -шикарный большой чистый пляж с кафешками и развлечениями

Cons: В последний день проживания в соседние две комнаты заселилась шумная местная молодежь, которая вела себя по-хозяйски, даже не поздоровалась с нами, громко разговаривали, курили и пили.Компания не спала всю ночь, устроив застолье на общей террасе, что омрачило наше проживание в последнюю ночь перед вылетом( .

Hala a great person and the house is great and safe

Pros: The property owner is a great person, so nice, I liked the house also very Turkish style cosy

Cons: The room was alittle small but it was our choice, I think it can be better for one person but overall good
