A bargain worth every penny

Pros: The place is huge and it's definitely a bargain for the price you pay. It's located near a bus and tram station so well connected to the rest of the city. Also not far from the apartment there are good restaurants and cafes. The place is definitely a good choice for a group of people looking to spend some days together in Istanbul, I recommend it. Very easy check-in and check-out. Kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances, bedrooms are quite big and beds are comfortable (if you like firm mattresses).

Cons: The water coming from the showers is not very warm and on top floor it has low pressure.

Pros: We had a great stay at this rental! The place was clean, well-kept, and in a really good location—close to everything we needed. The hosts were super responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything so easy. One thing we especially appreciated was being able to leave our luggage after checkout until it was time to head to the airport. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Lovely house from which to explore an amazing city!

Pros: Lovely architecture and great position! Spacious clean and comfortable rooms with a bathroom on each floor. Great facilities for a family - well equipped kitchen and laundry with washer and dryer. Neighbourhood is full of character, nearby Balat (5 min walk) has very cool cafes and restaurants. We recommend the restaurants with food in Bain Marie’s - cheap and delicious and usually without the hard sell. Fresh food market on Tuesday!! A walk from many attractions and direct tram ride to others. Bus and ferry also walking distance. We stayed in winter and it was also very cosy!

Cons: Nothing!! But if you have mobility issues this house is connected by a beautiful spiral staircase. No bedrooms are on the ground floor.

Pros: It's an old house; however, it is in very good condition, clean, and perfect for our group. The host was very kind to add an extra bed for our last-minute request.

Pros: We stayed for 4 nights and the house had everything we needed. Supermarkets, restaurants, tram, and parks are within walking distance. Very easy to get to the main tourist attractions.

Cons: Recommend adding more cups and a place to hang coats, jackets, etc. at the entrance.

Pros: Good location for touring the Balat area and a feel of how the locals live. Very spacious accommodation with everything you need for a stay.

Cons: TV living room is tiny. Boys on street tend to be noisy. Booking mentioned 3 bathroom but it is 2.5

Amazing house, amazing owner

Pros: Staying in a historical mansion by the sea made us feel like we were in historical Istanbul. The owner did his best to make us feel at home, we appreciate them. A total of 3 toilets and 2 showers on each floor were a real luxury for us. You must experience this!

Cons: We have no complaints about the house, but be careful with taxi drivers in the city. Not all of them have good intentions.
