Arat Apartments

Pros: Clean, spacious room. Terrace with a beautiful view of the Bosphorus. The room has everything you need. All the sights are within a 15-minute walk. If you want, you can enjoy the Bosphorus embankment and walk to the Egyptian Bazaar.

Pros: Clean. Comfy bed. Very quiet area. Host John was friendly and helpful despite our very late arrival. Excellent value for money. Access to the rooftop where there is a microwave and refrigeration in addition to the seating and tables was welcome. There was fridge and gas hob in the apartment too. We would definitely return if ever in Istanbul again.

Cons: A smaller cooking pot? The one available was very large for a two/ three person apartment.

Pros: We stayed in room 402 (garden view with a balcony). The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. While there is a twin bed in addition to a queen size bed, the twin bed is located in a nook not even wide enough to walk around the bed. The location is quite nice, close to Aya Sofia and all the major attractions reachable by foot or by tram (it's a bit steep climb from the apartments to the tram station). Overall we had a nice stay and it was great to be able to cook some of the meals in the apartment.

Cons: Some of the towels have seen their better days and should be replaced. It would be nice to have a kitchen towel or a roll of paper towels. A box of matches or a lighter for the stove is needed.

Quiet area

Pros: In a quiet area which is a short walk to local shops and main attractions. Bed is comfortable and apartment is kept clean. Close to public transport. There is a rooftop terrace which has a nice view to the water.

Cons: No doors on the bedrooms

Pros: Good location, 15 minutes to H. Sofia, Bazar, tram, 5 minutes to the sea stroling area, nice terrace that we would gladly use in warmer season, Mr. Can from reception was very kind and helpful.

We really enjoyed the stay. The kids were really comfortable and we would diffinately come back again

Pros: The space was more than adequate and the atmosphere was really pleasant

Cons: Maybe if there is any criticism then it would be the surrounding buildings. It looked a little neglected as an area. And not all the mosques were open for 5 daily prayer eg Fajr

A unique apartment in a good location

Pros: The apartment is big with a pretty courtyard. The location is very central with a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby.

Cons: Nothing much

Pros: The bed is super comfortable. The contact person was great and responded super quickly. Located in a quiet area, view of the sea. The main attractions are 20 minutes walking. Easily accessible by public transport (even from the airport).

Cons: Was not able to pay by card so I had to take out money and pay in cash.

Pros: all okay..but we have parking with euro rate for 2days..😩

Pros: Very nice host, who replied fast. Clean, tidy and nicely made beds. Cozy terrace with fridge and kitchen.

Cons: Suddenly no warm water the second day. The stove did not work and the tupperware was low quality and lay on a plate mixed randomly in the cupboard.
