Great guesthouse

Pros: We had a great stay at this guesthouse. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Blue Mosque. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. It’s also very convenient as there are several shops right across the road. The room was clean, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Very good price, at least in winter. Highly recommended.

Pros: The room was very clean and they had provided us with good amenities. Riffat and Sabqat, the owners were really accommodating and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Great location. Easy to get to blue mozque and grand bazaar. Great equipment. Host is very nice. We arrived at 2.00 in the middle of the night with lots of rain and he helped us pick up the bags.

Pros: The room was very clean, warm and well located. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very value for money!

Cons: Unfortunately there was quite a lot of noise coming from the streets especially at night so you should keep it in mind.

Decent budget stay near old quarter Istanbul

Pros: Nice service and clean rooms, good price and within walking distance of old town tourist points.

Cons: The surrounding area is pretty dirty and the hill can get annoying after a few days. But this isn't the hotels fault.

Pros: Pension is in a very cosy position to can reach Blue Mosque, more or less 1,5 Km. Despite it is in 'Sultanhmet the structure isn't noisy and it is possble to reach very typical restaurants on foot. Staff is always very kind. Room is very big and fitted out with all the necessary.

Pros: Location was central and it’s in the non-touristy part, I think it’s a shoe making district so there are local eateries and shops around. The owner was friendly and helpful to our requests! He helped to open the door for us when the group had to split up. Also kept the bags for us on our last day at the city after we had checked out.
