Great stay in Istanbul

Pros: The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Shampoo, shower gel, soap, kettle, tea and coffee were provided. Check in was nice and easy. Mohammed at Reception was welcoming and informative. The hotel is close to few modes of public transport and close to cheap groceries shops.

Cons: The Wifi was a bit temperamental at times. Traffic noise can be heard but it is not overwhelming.

Pros: This guesthouse is conveniently located between Kumkapi and Yenıkapı train stations; there are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Upon arrival, Muhammad, the staff at the fronat desk, and the owner in the lobby warmly greeted me. After check-in, Muhammad personally helped me with my luggage and showed me to my room, providing a detailed introduction. The guesthouse was recently renovated in 2022, and the room was spotless. In addition, it offers a spacious shared kitchen, fully equipped with cookware and tableware, allowing me to prepare dinner comfortably and easily. The next day, I was supposed to check out at 11 am, but the owner let me stay until after lunch, even buying me a cup of Turkish coffee and inviting me to join them for lunch. Besides the excellent accommodation, the owner and staff's hospitality was the most outstanding feature!

Great!

Pros: I would recommend Okda Hotel for sure! We got more than we expected! The location is great for visiting the main tourist attractions and many restaurants and shops are close by. The highlight was the helpful staff, as they were here for all questions and assistance. If we ever come back to Istanbul, we will return for sure!

Cozy and spotless hotel

Pros: One of the best stays I ever had! Very good value-money. The place is located near plenty of the big attractions, yet is a quiet local area. The room was very clean and cleaned everyday. Everything was spotless. There is a shared kitchen that guests can use. The staff is amazing, everyone working there is gold. Their service, their attention, their help, their charm and smiles! As a woman traveling solo, they made me feel very safe and comfortable. So good that I extended my stay and even came another time. I would definitely recommend staying here!
