Monaco Hotel

Great choice if you like shopping

Pros: Excellent location. Lots of friendly and helpful staff from the reception, housekeeping, to the restaurant. Clean, with safe box and small refrigerator.

Pros: The hotel is located close to the historical center and to the university. The street is relatively quiet but occasionally can be noisy even in the midnight. The breakfast was excellent and the hotel stuff very helpful. The bed was very comfortable.

Cons: The room was relatively small and the air-conditioning did not work which was not a great issue in mid-September. The door to the bathroom should be fixed. It was difficult to close it. I missed a working table and one more chair.

Pros: Finally, a hotel room that isn’t soaked in smoke — clean beds, and even a woman from housekeeping put two fresh sleeping pillows beside me, since I only had one decorative one. So pleasant. The room has a cozy atmosphere, the food is fresh and delicious, the staff are friendly and caring — not because they have to be, but because that’s the kind of people they are. The location is convenient. Even though it’s a busy area, it’s fairly quiet. The Wi-Fi works, which is important. Thank you, I’ll be back again!

Lovely hotel with wonderful staff in great location

Pros: Staff extremely polite and accommodating. Location is amazing and within walking distance of major sights. Breakfast is a good selection.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was great.

Pros: Everything! Confortabile bad, nice room, very good and diversified breakfast! Coffee/tea in the room! Free water if you ask (my check-in was at 2am and all the shops were closed), and at check-out I was served with a very good turkish coffee…

Pros: After 2 weeks in Turkey with beds of varying comfort and scratchy bedlinen (no proper bottom sheets) this was great. Very comfy mattresses and fresh bedlinen, duvet and pillows. The breakfast buffet is outstanding with lots of variety and, especially welcome, many different fruits - loved the figs cooked with orange

Cons: I dropped something which rolled under the bed so had to look under to retrieve it. Yuck! Beds need lifting regularly for vacuuming underneath. Security felt lax - anyone could access all floors from the street level lift without going to reception

Pros: Very friendly receptionists helped me find a chemist open on a Sunday. Room was clean and comfortable with smart TV and a great Turkish breakfast included.
