Hotel Venera Istanbul Old City

Pros: Super kind and helpful staff , this was definitely the highlight ✨️ the rooms were clean and the amenities were good Great location , close to Grand Bazar and the mosques There is a omelet stand with fresh omelets at breakfast which I really appreciated

Cons: The biggest issue is that they give you only one key to the room , which is very inconvenient, because if you're sharing a room and one person wanna sleep and the you wanna go out, you have to ask for the staff to open the door for you. We booked half board, the dinner is great but you have only one option and it's usually salad, soup, some sort of chicken and small desert The breakfast was monotonous but ok enough It was a bit expensive compare to the whole istanbul price range but I would recommend it in general

Good value and position for money.

Pros: Good offer, location very close to T1 tram at the University station, few stops to the old town. Good breakfast buffet, with fresh fried omelettes and pancakes. Nice terrance bar. A plus, 500ml water bottle at your door every morning until day before check out.

Cons: Staff friendly, unfortunately difficult to communicate in English with them. It made our stay a bit more complex, eg. ordering a taxi or asking for recommendations about the town. Neighbourhood is an attractive one, its commercial area, surrounded by clothing shops. Fully packed during the day, empty at night. But overall very safe!

Excellent, pleasant & enjoyable stay

Pros: Pleasant professional staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Very clean & fresh linen. Close to tram lines. Within walking distance to major sights re: Blue Mosque, Hajia Sophia, Topkapi Palace & Basilica Cistern. Very easy check in & check out.

Cons: Everything was just perfectly good. I will recommend this hotel to any visitor.

Pros: Very nice place to stay in istanbul. Very close to metro station. Lovely food they provide.

Pros: Excellent settings and very friendly staff, we had a early flight into Istanbul, checkin tine was meant to be 2pm, they assisted us and let is checkin 7am.

Pros: The hotel looked really nice, the room was small — not like in the description — but it was comfortable.

Cons: I didn’t like that I chose the room with a city view, but actually the ‘city’ was just a street with shops, and the shop lights were shining into the window all night. The cleanliness wasn’t great — besides making the bed and changing the towels, nothing else was done. And one more detail: be very careful when you ask the reception to call a transfer to the airport. We asked them to call a transfer for us, and the taxi driver took us to a different airport than the one we requested, even though we mentioned twice which airport we needed. The breakfast is 3/10

Pros: Location. It’s in the heart of the Istanbul wholesale district. Good for shopping.

Cons: Nothing. Fantastic value for money.

Pros: The sea view room we booked was the best.The view was so beautiful.Timely response and best service.Breakfast was worth the price.Food from hot counter was unexpected.I would recommend this to everyone.

Cons: Wifi was not working.I had to use roaming data.
