Nidya Hotel Galataport

Pros: The location was just opposite to the Cruise Terminal. 5 minutes walk to restaurant and cafe. The staff was helpful. The breakfast provided was good.

The perfect choice prior to cruising with Norwegian. Would definitely stay there again.

Pros: We were staying overnight prior to a cruise. When we looked out the window the next morning, the Norwegian Viva was docked directly across the street from us. The location could not have been better. Walked with our luggage to the terminal. The beds were comfortable and there was minimum street noise. The hotel restaurant was both convenient and satisfactory. We both had the Ottoman Stew and it was delicious. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of choices and the coffee was good.

Cons: Nothing noted.

Pros: exceptional service, the rooms were very spacious and the view we had looked out to the Galataport. Daily open buffet breakfast covered all breakfast needs and was overwhelming with variety. the location of the hotel is very central to trams, metro and walking distance to Galataport, istiklal Caddesi, Galat Kulesi

Pre cruise stay.

Pros: Superb hotel to stay.. right across the road from the cruise terminal. Lovely top terrace bar to view the city from. Superb drinks and service. Great breakfast. Great location. The tram train runs straight past the hotel..easy to use to get to the sights of the city. Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel with terrace offering fantastic views ❤️

Pros: We loved the great location, just crossing the street to go to the cruise port and easy access to busses, tram and boat sunset tours. The room was very big, bed comfortable, the staff was very nice, Mehmet also let us have his transport card to use, really appreciated that, he was very nice to us. I loved the terrace and the views, breakfast was nice, free coffee and a good diversity of food. Overall, I recommend it.

Cons: I would suggest more amenities, especially slippers and adding shampoo, conditioner and lotion in the rooms, even if they will be mounted on the wall, not individual, will be great. More maintenance in the bathroom. It was very clean, just the small details at the corners can be fixed. Adding perfume all around the hotel, some sticks in a nice bottle, will give a good atmosphere. I recommend a theme around the hotel and if it's not possible, as it is quite big with many rooms, at least on the terrace, because it is the main attraction of the hotel, just create a nice theme there and organize parties at night, will bring a lot of value both to tourists and local as for you. Also the schedule of the terrace can be extended, as it was closing at midnight. That will be if you will organize nice evenings and parties with a DJ. I also highlight the importance of breakfast, on our last morning we didn't have omelette as the previous morning, this should be every day. We only had boiled eggs available. The rest of the breakfast was quite nice. Also please deal with drivers for a good price of the transfers to and from the airport, will be great. The last suggestion is to answer faster the messages from the booking app. Sometimes we really have urgent questions and need a fast reply. Thank you! We enjoyed our stay!

Great location, good value but hotel & facilities a bit dated

Pros: Easy access to the cruise terminal, comfortable room, helpful staff

Cons: A little worn & tied but comfortable - internet intermittent, aircon stopped working but was fixed, breakfast selection ordinary.

Cons: A pity that the rooftop bar & eating area was shut on the Monday ( one of the days we were there).

Pros: Staff very helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for the cruise port. We treated ourselves to a massage which was excellent and reasonably priced for a hotel.

Pros: The manager Mr Ramadan was soo professional and solve the issue we had in great manner he is definitely an added value for the hotel
