The Hotel Devman & Terrace

Pros: I like everythings: Great location, many restorans, bars around, supermarket a front of door, friendly staff, very cozy and warm room, cleaning and change of towels every day, good breakfast. I recommend .

Short visit before heading to Antalya.

Pros: The location was exactly as expected. Close to the Main Street and in one of the busier parts. Double bed and room to myself were ideal. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful and polite. Refilled bottles of water in the mini bar which was a nice touch.

Pros: I had a wonderful experience at the Devman Hotel. The entire place was exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. Their kindness and professionalism really made my stay feel comfortable and stress‑free. The hotel’s location is another big plus — it’s close to all major areas, making it very convenient to move around and explore. Although the rooms were a bit small, they were spotless and well‑maintained, which mattered most to me. Overall, it was a really pleasant stay, and I would definitely recommend Devman Hotel to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and conveniently located place to stay.

Great location and friendly staff, but breakfast menu variety and sound insulation need improvement.

Pros: Family-style place with very welcoming staff, especially Kemal Bey, and the entire reception team. Homemade breakfast prepared with care by Nazmia Hanım, a very kind and traditional Turkish woman. Excellent location, just a few seconds from Istiklal Avenue, a 2-minute walk to Şişhane metro station and the Tünel, and about 5 minutes on foot from Galata Tower. Housekeeping is done every morning, with overall cleanliness being satisfactory.

Cons: Noise from Istiklal Avenue; window sound insulation could be improved. Basic breakfast buffet less varied compared to our stay two years ago, with the same menu offered throughout the 9-day stay. Deep cleaning could be improved, especially under the beds. Improving these points, even with a slightly higher rate, would make the experience even more wonderful.

Excellent value for money

Pros: The hotel is in an excellent location, the staff are very helpful and friendly, and the price is more than reasonable for what you get. The room is not large, but it’s perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. I didn’t come to spend my time in the room anyway. Breakfast is buffet-style with more than enough choice. My only suggestion would be to change the selection of food a bit more often. The food is excellent, but the same menu can get a bit repetitive if you’re staying longer. You get a bottle of water per person every day, which is a nice touch. There is also tea, coffee and a kettle in the room, so you can make as much as you like. Our departure was early in the morning, so they prepared sandwiches and gave us water for the trip, and they arranged transport to the airport at a fair price. All in all: excellent value for money. Definitely recommended.

Cons: The internet signal in the room was not strong enough, so the connection would occasionally drop.

Pros: The location is very good, with lots of bars, restaurants and the main street is just a few steps from the apartment. The staff is very friendly.

Cons: There was a lot of mosquitoes in the room and there was nothing to kill them. After complaining, the staff gets me a spray on the next day.
