A comfortable hotel in the heart of Old City

Pros: The Hotel is quiet, located in the heart of Sultanahmet, very near Grand Bazaar, and is very cozy. The beds are really soft and comfortable. The breakfast is good, and the restaurant is not overcrowded or loud and a good place to enjoy a morning coffee in peace before stepping out onto the busy Sultanahmet streets. The rooms are well maintained and clean.

Cons: Although the staff is very courteous, interactions with the staff, specially at the check-in and reception is a little impersonal and cold; exception to this was the restaurant manager and the nice housekeeping ladies, who seemed genuinely happy to engage with you. The Wifi, although steady, wasn't the fastest and the outdoor sitting in the Terrace Restaurant and Bar needs a revamp. Spa staff was good, but the ambiance wasn't the best.

Pros: The staff was friendly, and the location was excellent. Overall, I was very happy and would gladly return anytime. The SPA was especially amazing, and the team there, including Nursiah, made the experience even better. Kind regards, and thank you for a wonderful stay!

Pros: I’ve stayed at this hotel before, and I absolutely loved my stay once again. The location is fantastic, the gym is very clean, and the overall cleanliness is excellent. The breakfast was perfect and a great way to start the day. A special mention to Goca, the relationship supervisor, who was incredibly kind and helpful and made the experience even better.

Cons: I cannot fault this hotel

Pros: Location was perfect, close to all the cites and markets. So much food places around. The tram stop is right outside the hotel and the metro is 5 min walk away. Breakfast is alway good at Doubletree

Cons: Room was abit small but we made it work. The coffee at breakfast wasn't great.

Great stay!

Pros: Staff were very helpful and can speak a variety of different languages, great location and a nice hotel. Would definitely go back next time I’m in Istanbul. Hotel has 24hr security on the door which I also thought was very good.

Pros: Location, close to all of the attractions: Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, etc. Staff, very friendly. Will go out of their way to assist. Facilities are great.

Cons: Vehicles (taxis, uber, private transper) are unable to stop directly infront of the hotel but, rather in a sidelane, about 30m away. This isn't far, however, if you have lots of luggage could be an issue.
