Pros: We arrived early, they accepted us, got breakfast before check in, we bought the bath tickets.. Excellent staffs.

Cons: In dining hall, hand wash sinks outside and need to stairs down and walk a bit.

Thank you Apple Tree for the wonderful stay and especially Mr Vahid for the excellent service.

Pros: Close proximity to main attractions. Yet not crowded n not along main streets. Breakfast spread was excellent Turkish spread. Dining manager was friendly. View at the roof terrace for breakfast was spectacular. Family room was spacious n big enough to open multiple luggage. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage safely when we enroute to another city before returning Istanbul to continue our travels.

Pros: The team is fantastic, especially Amin, the terrace, and the outdoor seating overlooking the Sultan Ahmed Mosque. Close to the sea.

Cons: The room near the hotel restaurant is somewhat noisy unless you plan on returning late; some of the plumbing needs maintenance.

Cons: The elevator was cramped. I stayed in2 different wings. One has the cramped elevator. The other wing has no elevator. Spiral stairs

Nice hotel with superb staff

Pros: Location of the hotel is right in the heart of Sultanahmet, commanding spectacular views from the terrace on the roof down to Bosphorus strait. Staff was very welcoming and friendly, ready to accommodate your needs at every step. Late arrival was handed perfectly, breakfast is nice, and we were allowed to store our luggage on the day of departure to explore the old town.

Cons: Unidentified repetitious beep probably from some of the systems in the hotel during the night was a bit annoying initially.

Good base for active tourists

Pros: I participated in Istanbul Marathon and then sightseeing the city. Hotel was the perfect location for both activities, as it was 350 to the finish line and the same distance to Blue Mosque and close to other important buildings like Hagia Sophia or Topkapı Palace. Hotel is also good spot for further trips around city - nearby there is tram line allowing to get other nice places and change to other metro and tram lines. The personnel was very nice, kind and helpful. I got help with reservation to Turkish bath and massage, including transport from and back to the hotel. Very nice people. Room was nice - huge plus for possibility to use room fridge for own food and drinks. I recommend to everyone who wants have good base for sightseeing.

Cons: Breakfast hours - only 2 hours. It would be at least 3 hours (e.g. from 7:30 to 10:30)
