Tilas - Rooms in 19th Century Wooden Townhouse

Pros: Everything was amazing when we arrived. The room exceeded expectations and it was so cosy and felt like a lovely little home. Every bit of decor was thought out and with a touch of history while being modern. The toilet and room in general was also absolutely clean. The neighbourhood is so lovely I really want to go back and stay longer. Yet the hostel is located on a quiet street close to everything. It was also lovely chatting with Emre a little in the morning and overall we love the whole concept and vibe of the place.

The best stay in Istanbul

Pros: It was my 4 th stay in this property :)) I used to live in Türkiye and I could stay in my friends home, howerver I rather choosed to stay in Tilas again❤️ Kadikoy is the best place to get anywhere in Istanbul + Tilas is in very safe area full of restaurants, coffee places and shops, close to two different metro lines and ferries so it is super easy. The house itself has super nice vibe and energy, rooms are clean and beds are super comfy. Hosts are helpful and kind. There is iron, hair dryer and anything you would need for your stay so you can leave space in your luggage for something sweet from Türkiye 🇹🇷 Hope to be back soon :)

Perfect Istanbul accomodation

Pros: The location is perfect for sightseeing both sides of Istanbul. 5 minute walk to ferries and airport bus. The bed was super comfy, and the room had a lovely street view. Fully equipped kitchen is spotless. The staff were very friendly and informative.

Cons: Nothing!

The perfect place to stay for discovering Istanbul.

Pros: A very warm welcome and a wonderful family ambiance. The ancient building has been renovated with great care, heart, and style. A perfect stay — we would happily return.

Cons: Unfortunately, our stay was too short to fully enjoy this magnificent city.

Pros: We recently had the great pleasure of staying at Tilas, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I made my booking, Emre was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure all my needs were met. The room was exactly how it was in the images. Thank you Emre and it was lovely to meet you.

Pros: Owners were super welcoming and they made us feel at home. We had very nice reception with Turkish coffee and a nice chat. It is a child-friendly facility that made my kid very excited to stay there. I strongly recommend that place ☺️

Amazing house with great sustainable concept!

Pros: We really love the concept of Tilas: sustainable, very cosy, feels like home, traditional old wooden house, great hosts, well stuffed kitchen, great location within walking distance to metro/ferry/restaurants in Kadıköy, … We definitely will book again!

Your home in Istanbul

Pros: Emre&Tugba make you feel that you have your own place in Istanbul. The place is just perfect home to deep into Istanbul and to wake up your curiosity and love for the city and its people .

Cons: nothing, JUST PERFECT

Pros: A beautifully restored house with lovely aesthetic touches maintaining character whilst having modern facilities made Tilas a lovely stay. The location is fabulous for being in the heart of Kadikoy and easy for transport too. The hosts were so helpful, friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay again.

Cons: The room was a tad smaller than expected which limited my usual morning yoga practice but I felt able to use the shared landing outside.

Pros: We stayed in a two-bed room for three nights and had a very positive experience. The house is very cozy and well equipped, located in a nice and quiet area while still being close to the city center—most central spots are within walking distance. Everything was clean, and the support we received was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
