Hotel Villa Marina

Pros: ⭐ Rating: 10/10 – Excellent stay, highly recommended! Everything about this hotel was great! The location is very convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, exactly as shown in the photos. The staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to help – they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with plenty of options and quick service. The elevator worked perfectly, and the overall atmosphere in the hotel was calm, cozy, and relaxing. The value for money is excellent – you get comfort, cleanliness, and great service at a fair price. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Perfect choice for both short and longer visits!

Pros: Good location near the port. I asked for a quiet room and received one away from traffic noise. I even got a free upgrade. Breakfast had reasonable variety and was quite good. The staff were very helpful in connecting me with local tour services.

Cons: I did not like the bright blue light from the television which I was unable to turn off. I did not ask the staff about this. They probably would have been able to find a solution. Wifi tended to cut in and out, and I sometimes had to switch between different wifi networks based on different floors, although these were all accessible from my room. It was of good quality when at peak performance.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Close to station and ferry terminal.

Cons: The rooms could do with some refurbishment. Air conditioning was a bit weak.

Pros: Very good hotel, close to the seafront/ port, so it was perfect to choose when I had an early boat to catch.

Cons: Problem with internet. The room is a bit small. But it was not a problem for us.

Pros: Perfect location, everything was clean but the best, by far, the staff. Both the lady and the younger boy who were at the reception when I checked in and out were super friendly. Staff can make or break an hotel. Here they definitely make it!
