Ikigai Hotel Villa Rıfat

Good for money.

Pros: It has good garden where we picked fresh mandarin in October. Garden have tables and bar, you can chill out at garden after long day at island. Garden have a good view but sea is barely visible. You can book room in hotel building if you want to have a good view at balcony. We stayed at guest rooms at garden.

Cons: Hotel is located around 20 minutes walk from center. It is easy to walk down from hotel to center, but it is a bit difficult to return to hotel because road is a little steep. Island have bus but it is a bit expensive - fixed 2.5 eur for short distance. It is almost ferry price from Istanbul to Büyükada. Bus is free for only local citizens. You can rent bicycle as well.

Pros: I didn't expect anything but got a lot. The hotel is very individual, cozy, you feel like you've come to your grandfather's country house. Very warm welcome, everything you need, big hearty breakfasts. Beautiful garden where you can admire the sea. Overall, a soulful, quiet place. I recommend it for couples.

A classic house with big airy rooms, comfortable bed and fantastic view if u get room with balcony.

Pros: View from balcony was fantastic- sea, Asian shoreline and shrubbery. Balmy in the evening. A long enough walk to town but hop on the little bus or hire bikes like we did. We kept the bikes overnight which was handy. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: We liked everything about the property. Fittings in rooms could be of a better quality, e.g., Shower door handle broken. Some fresh fruit with breakfast would be good.

Pros: This's a two-storey country house in classic architecture for these places converted into a hotel and everything is stylized under that times, very clean, very friendly staff although not speaking English, good location but a little far from the city center, but the reason why I went there is to be a little far from the city center:) in general, it costs every cent, and if I come at Adalar again I would difenetly stay at this place again

Cons: It was hard to use a door key, because it was old and door was old too, so I wasn't able to close it from the first time. Breakfast was without any meat (not even sausages or other imitation of meat)

Cons: separate blanket in the room would be very helpful

Pros: Lovely building and location. Very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast on a nice terrace overlooking the sea. Relaxed atmosphere. Never too busy.
