BDK hotel

Pros: BDK is the best place to stay in Istanbul! The hotel has a great location in the historic city center, fair prices, and is within walking distance of the main attractions. It boasts comfortable rooms to make your stay unforgettable. In my case, upon arrival, they upgraded my room to a better category at no extra cost. This room had a comfortable living area, a kitchen, and a separate bedroom. Given my dietary restrictions, I was able to cook my own meals, and they provided all the utensils I needed. What I appreciate most about this lovely place is its wonderful and always attentive staff, who not only greeted me with a smile every morning but also gave me advice, ideas, and helped me store my luggage while I traveled to another city. They also helped me arrange laundry services and made me feel right at home. For all these reasons, I stayed at BDK for 7 days! Thank you so much for everything, especially to Fettan and all the team members. See you on our next trip.

Cons: For me, it was a perfect hotel!

Pros: Very kind and supportive staff. The hotel is close to everything; I visited the main landmarks without paying for a taxi, Uber, or public transport, just walking. I also found nice restaurants and stores nearby. The room is good for a solo traveler like me, and the price is very affordable. I had no problems with cleanliness or noise.

Cons: The bathroom is a little too small, not gonna lie. But it's not a big deal since the price is fair and the hotel has more pros than cons.

Pros: The location is great, a few minutes walk from main attractions. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. The owner is super nice and attentive, very helpful and available all the time. This place is strongly recommended :)

Good Stay.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and the check in was quick. The room was as advertised with small cooking facilities and good Wifi. The air conditioning was good although a little noise but I carry ear plugs anyway so it didn't matter. Good value for the price I paid and in a good location.

Great stay at this hotel near Sultanahmet, I recommend it.

Pros: Great location, near the grand bazaar and Aya Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The host was very nice. Room was spacious with everything you need. I was even upgraded to a bigger room at the top floor.

Cons: The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner : there were hairs on the floor and other particles on the floors in general. But for the price it’s okay.

Excelling accomodation , value for money

Pros: Owner of accomodation is very helpfull ans available 24/7. Asked for checking in at around 4-5 am in morning and he accomodated for that and not only this he was in communication by asking when i landed at airport around 3:00 am and probably he never slept on that morning for which i feel sorry for him. Excellent communication from him. Location is 10 out of 10 , walking distance for blue mosque , hagia sofia. A grocery shop very close to accomodation with reasonable price for items , not like shops near major attraction who have double or tripple price. I visited in summer end season roughly around end of July so used to take water/ snacks from that shop before going out towards attraction. For taksin square Istanbulkart is must which can be bought near Hagia sophia/ blue mosque.

Cons: Hotel is at start of steep incline which is not a problem if you are going by yourself to blue mosque / hagia sophia as there is non inclined path to these attraction as well which we used on daily basis but problem comes in if you have booked tours with 3rd party with pickup ,as i had bosphour dinner cruise and princess island tours booked and pickup van comes to inclined side of road probably because there is main road on that side and pickup van driver will ask you to come on main road which is about 5 min very inclined road. Airport transport picked and dropped me next to accomodation to non inclined side.

Pros: Great location in the historical center of Istanbul, within walking distance of Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. Quiet, clean room, has everything for a comfortable stay. I would like to thank the staff for their friendliness and willingness to help. I recommend this hotel, I'll come back here again.

Pros: Quiet, everything new, you will get welcome treats. The owner is attentive, something missing just ask. We enjoyed our stay, we got a free upgrade, last floor - very good conditions. We recommend!

Great stay and hospitality!

Pros: We had such a pleasant experience at BDK Hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive—they checked on us before our arrival and continued to do so throughout our stay, always asking if we needed help or suggestions. It made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. The location is convenient, as it's nearby the Çemberlitaş tram station, which connects easily to most major attractions like Sultanahmet and Eminönü. Just a heads-up: the walk involves a bit of an uphill climb when heading out from the hotel, but coming back to the hotel is faster and easier since it's downhill. The room was clean, cozy, and nicely maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the peaceful vibe despite being so close to the city’s main sights. Overall, if you're looking for warm hospitality, a convenient location, and great value, BDK Hotel is definitely a place we'd recommend and would love to return to!

Skvělá volba pro ty, kteří hledají klidné ubytování přímo v centru u tram. zastávky

Pros: Velmi milý personál, ochotný a nápomocný, přítomný 24 hodin. Úžasná lokalita, v centru, hned poblíž památek, ale zároveň v klidné a tiché ulici. Do pěti minut chůze je poblíž tramvajová zastávka Cemberlitas. Poměr cena výkon nejlepší volba.

Cons: Ubytování rozhodně doporučuji, především s ohledem na skvělý poměr ceny a kvality. Vybavení pokojů by sice zasloužilo drobné vylepšení – ocenila bych například botník nebo širší výběr nádobí (chybějící hrnec mi ale personál ochotně zapůjčil). Pár detailů by také sneslo preciznější úklid či drobnou opravu, ale celkově jsem byla spokojená a pobyt si užila.
