Clean and cozy home feeling

Some inconveniences, but a pleasant stay nonetheless

Pros: The checkin was easy: there is a concierge office open 24x7, and since i got there late at night, it was easy to get in. The room was very clean, the bed was comfy, the amenities are new and nice - i felt the need for a microwave oven, as another poster commented, but that's not a deal breaker. There's enough storage room for your clothes and shoes. The WiFi connection is strong and stable. The staff is friendly, even though, they speak little to no English. The area is quite safe, unlike others from Istanbul. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around. They gave me an extra blanket when i requested one, because the AC was not getting the place as warm as i needed it to be. Despite the 2 hiccups i will state below, the stay was pleasant and i would go there again, but...better prepared...

Cons: This is not the residence's fault, but right across the building, there is a construction site. They are building a hotel or something and they work from dusk until later in the day - weekends included! i was shocked to be woken up by buzzing and drilling at 9 am on a Sunday morning. The noise comes through the windows. You definitely need ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The deposit situation. I was not informed via mail or message that a CASH deposit is needed at checkin. I found that out by pure happenstance on my travel day and the host confirmed via booking message that i could pay by card. I got there, the receptionist spoke no English and my card payment kept getting declined. The PoS displayed errors in turkish, he could not explain to me what they were... He called an English speaker and we agreed i would pay in cash the next day. I had to go to an ATM and take out 4000 TRY to pay them, for which i got surcharged another 400TRY (so that's lost money for me). I gave it to them, they gave me a receipt and then i got that money back at checkout, after the room check.

Pros: The property has a good location, it has groceries shops nearby, the structure of the building is resistant to earthquakes(we’ve been in a period of frequent earthquakes and didn’t feel anything). The rooms are super spacious, clean and well-equipped.

Cons: The only inconvenience was the unpleasant smell from the bathroom, especially from the sink.

Pros: Very clean and modern. The beds were great and super comfortable. The staff are super friendly, polite and helpful with any question. Highly recommended.

Pros: We had a great, comfortable stay. We stayed for about a week, and the flat was spotlessly clean and very cozy. It was spacious enough for us and had everything we needed. The location was super convenient, close to public transport and local markets. Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you want to be in the heart of the city

I recommend G Residences for those looking for a quiet place with all the tourist attractions nearby.

Pros: The receptionists were very communicative, guiding us to locations where you can find what you want, the apartment was clean, spacious, warm , everything new and well equipped with all the utilities you need. We are happy to return to this location again.

Cons: I have nothing to comment on, everything was as we expected.
