Fantastic experience in a fascinating city
Pros: It was my first visit to Istanbul. I went because it is different to western Europe. It could have been overwhelming but Abuzer and Nur made me so welcome and were so friendly and hospitable.

An excellent accommodation option in the center of Istanbul
Pros: An excellent accommodation option! A charming old apartment in the very center, a 10-minute walk from Sultanahmet Square (but be prepared for some slight inclines and declines, as this is typical for central Istanbul). The hosts are incredibly nice and always ready to help in any situation. Special thanks for: - the extension cord (very useful option) - the laundry detergent (this is rare! Usually there is a washing machine, but no laundry detergent) - and, of course, the wonderful treats!

Warm welcome and spotless apartment – we felt right at home!
Pros: We came here on the recommendation of a friend, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. The welcome was truly warm: upon arrival, we were offered tea and homemade cakes, and they even gave us a pair of socks as a welcome gift. The apartment was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with every comfort. When it was time to leave, the owner kindly offered to call us a taxi at a good price and even offered to accompany us to make sure everything went smoothly. Such thoughtful care is rare and deeply appreciated. My girlfriend and I felt right at home from the very first moment. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality and outstanding service. Highly recommended!

Perfect location for all the main tourist sights without the hustle and bustle.
Pros: Our hosts Abuzer and Nur went out of their way to make us comfortable. Nothing was too much to ask of them. We were invited into their own personal apartment to share tea and goodies that Nur made. She is a fabulous baker and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Nur’s home. The location is perfect, very quiet despite being next to the Mosque. Dining options are plentiful and down the street from the apartment are many options for good food without having to go into the tourist area. We love Istanbul and Abuzer snd Nur made it even better, thank you.

Pros: Our stay at Nur and Abuzer's house was great. The property itself is located very near historical sights, totally clean and there's everything you need for comfortable stay. But the best thing is getting to know Nur and Abuzer - they were proactive, always helped with everything, answered every question we had, and prepared the most delicious dinner with desserts and tea and just blew us away with their hospitality. Thank you!

An immersive experience of life in Sultanahmet; intimate, generous, wonderful!
Pros: Ultimately, what made staying here amazing is the exchange between the hosts and us. They are excellent. Wise, friendly, generous with an infectious positivity - they went way beyond the norm in our culture to make us welcome and comfortable. Genuine hospitality - they shared what they love about their home with us. The apartment is a great example of that - it is furnished and decorated with family pictures and items so it feels intimate but not precious and gave us a mini-experience of living in Istanbul. I genuinely wish we could be neighbours!
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. Plenty to love!

One word: Superb!
Pros: Great location, excellent shower and bed. The hosts were perfect! So friendly and kind. They even made us some food according to our dietary preferences- over and above what anyone could expect. It’s no wonder they have fantastic ratings! Highly recommended.

Pros: I went to Istanbul alone. I am an Italian woman. Nur and Abuzer welcomed me as if I were part of their family. The apartment is a few steps from the Blue Mosque, Sophia Mosque, Toptaki Palace and the metro that runs through the center of Istanbul, in a safe place. A quiet apartment (I slept very well), furnished with all comforts and clean. But the owners are the ones who would make me choose this place to stay again, because they are unique and fantastic! I highly recommend this apartment!

Friendly hosts and super location
Pros: Such a warm welcome from lovely hosts Nur and Abuzer. They are super friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in their apartment which is very well located for the main attractions in Istanbul. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The apartment is clean, comfortable and has everything you need including a washing machine. Would highly recommend.

Perfect!
Pros: This was the perfect place for us to base ourselves on our first time in Istanbul. The home had everything we needed and was very comfortable, the washing machine came in handy after travelling for many weeks. The host Abuzer and Nur were nothing short of amazing. They greeted us late in the evening and even organised our taxi and saw us off at 4 am. The hospitality was very welcoming, they invited us for tea on our last evening and by end of the stay we felt like friends. I would highly recommend Abuzer and Nur’s place to stay and hope we can come back and stay again in future. Very highly recommended by 2 travellers from Australia who travel a lot. 🥰
Cons: It was the perfect stay for our 4 days in Istanbul. Nothing we didn’t like 🙏
