Taksim Galatist Hotel

Great location

Pros: Staffs very helpful. The staff help me get our big luggages from transport even it is 20-30 steps away from the hotel. Location is excellent. A convenient shop about 5 meters from the hotel. A throwing stone, there is a McDonald of the Istiklal Caddesi. Nearby will find more shops such as Adidas, Nike, H&M, Zara. Many restaurants too and some of it open until even after midnight.

Pros: I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Istanbul, within walking distance to restaurants, shops, public transport, and all the main attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, exactly as shown in the photos. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist Overall, a great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul. Would I return? Yes, absolutely!

Best Stay

Pros: I loved my stay here especially Maryum is really understanding and helpful. Hotel was literally in taksim (30 sec walk and you are at isteklal street) so I was able to visit 3 major areas without having to allocate a whole day. 8 min walk to taksim square (right side) and 8 min walk to galata tower on Left side. You can th tunnel and than take tram to be anywhere within 20 to 25 min.

Pros: Hotel in excellent location. Family room perfect size for 2 adults & 3 children. Staff were very friendly and super helpful, especially Maryam. She enthusiastically answered any questions we had, gave helpful advice about visiting tourist attractions & helped to organise transport. Highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: good location, many shop and restaurant nearby, the staff is very helpful, let us early check in at 7am, we can take rest after long flight

Pros: The hotel is not luxurious, but it is clean and has everything you need, a fridge and a kettle in the room, towels are changed every day and they are very, very friendly. Most speak English. We had a wonderful time, it is on the main street of Iştiklaj and very close to Taksim Square, where there is also a metro and funicular to the port of Kabataş. We recommend.
