Istanbul Irish Hotel

Great stay and fantastic value

Pros: Night staff are very friendly and helpful. location is great. near to taksim sq and lots of bars and restaurants. also close to metro. room was huge comfortable and a very big terrace. shower great. only downside is no elevator so ask for a low floor

Pros: We chose this apartment because of its amazing price. Despite being quite affordable, the location was very convenient for us, with the downtown area easily accessible by foot or by bus. The apartment met our expectations - simple but sufficient for our needs. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option close to the city, this is a solid pick.

Cons: Sadly, for me the Wi-Fi signal kept being weak on my main phone, but worked well on my other phone. Interesting. :)

A very quirky place to stay - not for every one, but i liked it.

Pros: Great value for money. Wifi was good, rooms were clean and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was continental style with cereals, bread, jam, cheese and that weird meat stuff they have over there. Staff fairly helpful and they could book tours for you with a 10% discount.

Cons: The single rooms are glorified prison cells in terms of space. The bathrooms feature some weird combined toilet and shower (I think you are maybe supposed to sit on the toilet while using the shower). Either way, you cant help but get the toilet soaking wet after use. My shower head was ropey. My friends air con didnt work and they couldnt fix it. The hotel adjoins the James Joyce pub and one night the band was on until after midnight. It is on a very lively street - bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Pros: Everything. Building itself is amazing, all the decorations, breakfast, cleanliness, and recycled toilet paper are a plus. Clerk Dennis is very professional and helpful. It's very European style.

Cons: Shower, the water is a little low sometimes

Pros: Centrally based, great for the surrounding area. Staff were great and helpful. Cheap accommodation, ideal for a short stay.

Cons: The hotel does not have lifts and stairs may be difficult if you are on a higher floor.

Excellent option for the price range in central Istanbul

Pros: Excellent location, just where you want to be for central Istanbul. Although adjoined to the bar there is zero noise in the upper rooms and altogether a very relaxed, hassle-free environment. Clean and modern, friendly staff, excellent choice for the price range.

Pros: Добрый день.Расположен отель в старинном здании и удачно, район Таксим, рядом метро, пешеходная улица Истекляль, Галатская башня , галатский мост, все в пешей доступности. В отеле работает русскоговорящая сотрудница Гульмира, которая очень любит свою работу, все расскажет, покажет, объяснит, посоветует. Были в этом отеле 2 ночи, все отлично, рекомендую!!! 👍
