No 8 Galata

Pros: Nice apartment with a small balcony to enjoy breakfast on :) Great location, walking distance to many restaurants, and the Galata Tower. Bed was comfortable.

Cons: The bathroom didn't have good ventilation, so everything was damp, but okay for two nights. The kitchen was barely equipped with any tools... don't expect to be cooking crazy meals ;)

Pros: In a very central location, close to many beautiful areas of Istanbul, awesome for walking. Well sized apartment with a cute balcony that we loved. Comfy bed and good facilities!

Cons: Very busy area! We didn’t mind, but lots of street noise from it being across from famous steps, and a busy waking street. Hilly street. Also very many stairs to head up to the top apartment, 4 staircases with heavy bags!

Pros: Beautiful apartment and close to everything. The hosts were lovely and very helpful!

Pros: Very comfortable room, well appointed, clean and quiet location, great for a longer stay or mid holiday with a kitchen and washing machine! a lovely balcony to have home prepared breakfast even though there are incredible cafes near by and at the door step!

Cons: we had the top floor room and was grateful the host carried up my suitcase!

Pros: The hotel is located in a beautiful building, featuring bright and cozy rooms. Despite the busy surroundings, it offers a peaceful atmosphere. It’s situated right next to the famous Kamondo Stairs in Istanbul and just a 5-minute walk from the Galata Tower. Karaköy Port is also within easy reach—a 10-minute walk away—where you can catch a ferry to the Asian side. The host was friendly and attentive.

Well equipped apartment in the very heart of Istanbul

Pros: We had rented 2 nice apartments in the Center of Istanbul, Beyoglu, 3 minutes walk from Galata tower. The apartments were nice and well equipped, even if we did not use kitchen, dish washer or washing machine. Nice views from the upper apartments. The location is great, could not have been better! The host was helpful, friendly, and fast in his replies. Easy checkin by keycode.

Cons: Bathrooms and beds were a bit small, but well usable. Not all windows close 100%, so there might be some noise in the evenings.

Pros: I absolutely loved the location, couldn’t get any better. Right above the famous steps, and just a pretty building. We did often find girls taking photos indent of the entry door. The host and owner was nice, he met us and walked us around. The room had aircon was good.

Cons: Not so much didn’t like but for certain people need to be wary of the very high step for the stairs. I would suggest if you struggle with knees or something like that may need to get a lower floor. For myself and my family it was great exercise so wasn’t a problem. Also there was no drying rack for our clothes although there was a washer which was great.

Cons: The stairs. But being on the 3rd floor meant we had a view and a balcony
