Beautiful, stylish apartment and a truly caring host.

Pros: The place is incredibly artistic and stylish, almost like staying in a modern art museum - every corner is beautifully designed and curated. The host is simply amazing – affectionate, caring, always ready to respond to messages, and truly like a friend. Honestly, one of the best hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Everything in the house worked perfectly, making the stay comfortable and effortless.

Cons: Honestly, it’s hard to find major faults. If I had to mention a few things, I would say it would have been nice to have more toiletries, like shampoo and shower gel, and a few more electrical outlets. Regarding the location, it’s a bit far from the main attractions if you want to walk, but the tram stop nearby makes it very convenient. One small point about the bed: from the Booking description, I thought there would be a separate room with another large bed, but it turned out that the “separate room” is actually the living area with a sofa bed – though this might have been my misunderstanding of the listing.

Pros: It is spacious, modern, very comfortable and well-located right in the heart of Istanbul. Selma is very kind and helpful for any type of request.

Cons: My cousin and I both liked very much the property. Since the apartment is at the 3rd floor with no elevator, it might not be appropriate for people in wheel chairs or having difficulties in climbing stairs. For the luggages, Selma offered to help upon arrival, which was highly appreciated.

Pros: I had an amazing experience staying here in Istanbul. Selma’s apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described in the listing. The location is excellent – close to great local cafes, boutique shops, restaurants, and public transport, making it very easy to explore both the historic old town and the modern parts of the city. The host went above and beyond, always quick to respond and very helpful with local tips. I felt at home and safe throughout my stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Istanbul

Pros: The location is great: 5 minutes from Istiklal, 15 minutes max to the new port area where there are a lot of cafes and restaurants and to fantastic district of Cihangir, very close to Sishane metro station. The apartment is very spacious, clean and stylish. We needed apartment with 2 bedrooms and this was not easy to find - this apartment turned out to be a fantastic option. The host is amazing: very responsive and helpful, always reachable. Just mind one thing: if anybody planning to stay there has difficulties with climbing the stairs - the apartment is on the 3rd floor, no elevator. This was not a problem for us, but might be a challenge for some people. Well, in general this part of Istanbul is all the time either up or down, either the hills or stairs.

Pros: Our hostess, Selma, was so very helpful and very quick to respond to our questions with great suggestions to make our stay more pleasant. Her instructions, with pictures, made check in simple. She was wonderfully courteous and friendly. The apartment is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped and the location, near Istiklal Street and a metro station is very convenient. Great place to stay.

Es war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub in einer sehr schönen Wohnung.

Pros: Eine moderne, sehr stylisch und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung. Der Wohnraum ist äußerst großzügig, zu Dritt hatten wir mehr Platz, als wir benötigt hätten. Die Wohnung liegt zentral, die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten lassen sich zu Fuß oder mit der Straßenbahn gut erreichen. Der Kontakt zu Selma, der Vermieterin, per E-Mail war sehr nett. Als wir ihr erzählt haben, dass wir Probleme mit dem deutschen Generalkonsulat haben, weil unsere Tochter ihren Personalausweis verloren hatte, bot sie sofort ihre Hilfe an.

Cons: Für gehbehinderte Personen ist die im dritten Stock gelegene Wohnung nicht geeignet, da es in dem Haus keinen Aufzug gibt.

Perfekter Familienurlaub

Pros: Es ist nicht leicht in Istanbul eine geschmackvolle und modern ausgestattete Wohnung zu einem akzeptablen Preis zu finden . Aber in dieser Wohnung war alles bestens - aber auch die gute Kommunikation mit der außerordentlich hilfsbereiten Vermieterin hat uns sehr gefreut - wir kommen gerne wieder 😊

A perfect apartment with great hosts

Pros: Quite possibly the best apartment I've had the pleasure of renting via Booking, and I rent a lot. The host, Selma, is incredibly kind and helpful. She went out of her way to help us with anything we needed, even helping us coordinate a doctor visit. The apartment itself is stunning - a nice layout, interesting art on the walls, cool details, a nice sized table and desk, and a comfortable couch and bed. I could not recommend it more, we will certainly be back.
