A great choice for a stay in Balat
Pros: Aesthetically decorated homely dwelling in the heart of Balat. Surrounded by restaurants and picturesque streets. Google maps shows a rundown building which is pic from many years ago. But at present it is a vibrant and safe neighbourhood. Easy access to the metro network by a short walk.
Cons: There are no lifts to the second floor entrance. So a bit challenging to take luggage in and out.

Spacious and nicely decorated two-floor apartment in a great area of Istanbul (Balat).
Pros: There's lots of space in the accomodation, even if more people were staying. The neighborhood, Balat, is really interesting. The host is very helpful and friendly.
Cons: I went in July, and being a loft the upper floor got very hot. The apartment has air conditioning that works well but if you prefer to sleep without aircon, it can get very warm at night.

Great property in safe and friendly area
Pros: A lovely area with friendly locals. The property felt like home away from home. It was perfect for us, and we loved the attention to detail. The host was responsive, but we had no problems at all. The property exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely go again
Cons: The apartment is on the third floor, and the staircase is narrow and winding. We were 6 adults with large suitcases, so it was a little difficult, but we didn't mind. Families with young children may struggle.

Lovely flat in a lovely area which needs a couple of tweaks and more recommendations - particularly on restaurant front
Pros: It’s lovely. The only reason for not giving the perfect 10 was a couple of light bulbs were not functioning and the bedsheets could be better quality - fine but a bit scratchy.
Cons: Nothing - loved it.

Pros: zentrale Lage, gute Verbindung, saubere und grosse Wohnung
Cons: Die Wände sind sehr hellhörig, jedoch ist es am Abend sehr ruhig. Und die Wohnung riecht permanent nach Essen aufgrund des Restaurants unten.

Pros: Bardzo ładny apartament, w doskonałej lokalizacji blisko restauracji, sklepów i kawiarni. Dobry kontakt z właścicielem, dokładnie przekazane wskazówki dojazdu. Wygodne łóżka, blisko do przystanku tramwajowego jak również przystani promowej. Kuchnia dobrze wyposażona łącznie z przyprawami, cukrem oraz filtrami do ekspresu do kawy.
Cons: Brakowało noży z zastawy stołowej,były tylko takie do krojenia. Przydałyby się nieco większe ręczniki kąpielowe. W łazience na dole zawieszenie słuchawki prysznicowej jest bardzo wysoko. Osoba niższa nie ma szans samodzielnie jej tam zawiesić lub zdjąć. Przydałby się drugi uchwyt na nią nieco niżej.
