Dimora Hotel Kadıköy

Perfect

Pros: Location and services. Davud did look after us and make us feel we are at home. Such a kind man.

Cons: Cleaning needs improving but apart from this everything else was great.

Pros: It was a really nice stay. The Host David was really kind. Also the location is great. Would recommend it and looking forward to come back.

Great hotel for a first stay in Istanbul

Pros: The staff was lovely and very attentive. As two female travellers, we appreciated that there was always someone at the reception. The hotel is only short walk away from the ferries and the metro station as well as bars, cafés and restaurants.

Cons: It is an old building and not soundproof; noise from the hallway/other guests as well as the bars close by can be perceived as very loud. If you are a sensitive sleeper you should bring ear plugs.

Pros: The hotel is easy to find and is very close to the sea. It's small and cosy. We liked the room design and breakfast. The staff was nice and polite, and the person at the reception brought us a tea station the night of arrival, which we really appreciated.

Cons: Kadiköy rarely sleeps, and the music from nearby bars and restaurants reaches the hotel quite well. We were tired and slept through it, but I would still recommend having earplugs. Other than that we were happy with our choice.

Would def return!

Pros: The receiption - Daood (David) was super friendly and helpful, not to forget Onur who gifted us with Istanbulkart as parting gift after they lend it to me. The place is cosy, spacious and close to anything especially the ferry!

Cons: Maybe the smoke (smell of ciggerattes) in the room but hey, its Turkiye!

Pros: The property is at a really good location in Kadikoy. The rooms are small but they are clean and whenever we stay in Istanbul we spend most of our time outside anyways. The staff were very polite and helpful. Would recommend staying here

Pros: We stayed 4 nights at Dimora during our recent stay in Istanbul. We had a small but comfortable and very clean room. The staff was amazing - extremely kind and helpful. We had a great stay, I think it is the perfect location for discovering Istanbul, as the ferry station is right around the corner. The hotel is surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops so you can get anything you'd need very easily. Bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Would stay there again.

Cons: We could hear people walking in the hallway and talking in the other rooms, which was not ideal. It didn't bother us that much, but if you are a super light sleeper or are very sensitive to sounds it might be a bit annoying.
