Historic Elegance with a Bosphorus Gaze

Excellent way to explore modern side of Istanbul.

Pros: The view was spectacular and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were spacious, and it was the first time when the actual property was better than the advertised pictures. There was new furniture for example new dinning table and there was a massive 65-70 inch new LED TV and a further 55 inch TV in one of the bathrooms. The location was very user friendly as it is very close to Galata Tower and Taksim Square. You can also go to Galata port on foot. The Bosphorus View is to die for, the current pictures does not do justice with the actual view. Every time you look at the view , its like you are seeing it for the first time. Although we were only two people, but the property is spacious enough for 6 people.

Cons: The 4 flight of stairs is not helpful especially when you have to carry 23kg big bags. the toilet is a bit old and you would not expect this quality of toilet in this price range, especially the sink tap was very faulty and it splashes water all around, not helpful at all. There was an issue when the boiler stopped working and we had to contact the staff, and they sent some video instructions to alter the pressure. The clean water is supplied but only on asking, and the second time when we asked, it was delivered a bit late, almost 48 hours after request. But on a whole our 10 day stay here was lovely.
