Lots of sight-seeing and great food.

Pros: Quiet location close to the Sultanahmet and small local shops. Very clean with a lovely host.

Cons: It would have been nice to have hooks or towel rails in the bedrooms for towels

Pros: Great location, you can walk to most of tourist attractions from there. Comfortable beds, very clean. Enough towels, shampoo, teas, coffees provided. Large fridge. Apartment has large hall which is very nice common area for having breakfast together etc. Tip: There are rather pricy restaurants in the area but if you are not looking for elegant surroundings but good and reasonably priced meal, we've had great experience at Ayasofya dürümcüsü Kadir just 1 min walk away

Cons: There are safety issues that you need to watch out for and need to be adressed immediately: - doorstep between living room and bathroom. Every member of our party stubbed their toe at least once during the stay - metal rod sticking out of balcony floor. - metal element sticking out of blinds under the shower (there is a Window between shower and toilet, hence blinds) - Electric kettle does not turn off automatically after boiling. If you forget about it just keeps boiling and gets extremely hot Tip that does not affect the rating of apartment: do not eat at Lale sultan restaurant at the corner, looks nice, but got terrible food poisoning from fish there, one member of my party was spared the poisoning because waiter FORGOT about her order

Familt meet up in Istanbul for an extended weelend exploring the old city.

Pros: Great location in the heart of the old city - lots of local amenities. Great value and good to have the garden as a place to sit out.

Pros: Loved the location. The hostess is lovely and very helpful. The two adjoining apartments on the ground floor are impecibly clean. Both have aircon. Each has a bathroom with shower. The left hand side apartment has access to a private outside area through a room with a single bed in it. (This apartment sleeps three) Outside/garden area has a lovely 6 seater wooden table and umbrella. The units each has a small kitchenette with all necessaties, fridges, two plate stoves, kettles and microwaves. There is a washing machine in the left hand side apartment. I highly reccomend these two apartments especially if booked together by family or friends needing both apartments. If renting the right hand side bottom apartment only you will not have access to the outside area. There not many two bedroom apartmemts with two bathrooms available in istanbul.

Cons: For purposes of review i would say a tumble drier would've been great as the air is humid in istanbul and clothes dont dry very easily. An ironing board would also help a lot (the units have irons). The units do not have an inside lounge area only the bedrooms. So if it rains the bedrooms will have be the place to get together.

Pros: Sehr geräumiges Appartement mit vielen Restaurants und einem Konditor(für Sandwiches und Törtchen) und Supermärkten in der Nähe. Sehr zentrale Lage, um viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß zu erkunden. Als das Internet nicht funktioniert hat, wurde das schnell behoben. Der Kontakt hat auch gut funktioniert. Klimaanlage funktionierte auch gut und wir haben auch die Waschmaschine genutzt.

Cons: Einige kleine Details, wie der Fernseher ging manchmal nicht...

Pros: Уютно , чисто и есть все необходимое для проживания на долгое время . Очень приветливая Хозяйка .

Yildiz was a fantastic host, really friendly and accommodating and somebody who goes out their way to help her guests.

Pros: The property was fantastic value for money, clean and spacious enough for a group of 4.

Cons: Nothing in particular, it is located at the bottom of the old city so there are lots of steps and hills to climb but this is of no fault to the property
