Flats Company - Karakoy Apartment

Pros: The room was great value for money in a central location excellent to explore every different part of the city (close to Taskim, close to Sultanahmet and close to the ferries departing for Bosphorus and the east side). The staff was helpful and responded immediately on whatsup.

Cons: The area might seem a bit eerie at first (especially if you arrive at night the first day). However we had no problem whatsoever and we were totally at ease when we saw the area in daylight and the nearby shops open.

Pros: Place is located while central, it is quiet during time, ensuring peaceful sleep. Instructions for check in are easy to follow.

Cons: Bit too hot at arrival in the room but easy to turn heating down.

Pros: The location of the apartment was very good. It’s within walking distance of Galata Tower and also not too far from a tram station. If you’re not very fit, it might be important to know that the walk up to Galata is quite steep. The apartment was well equipped. They even provided house slippers and a bottle of water. Communication with the owner, Volkan, was excellent. He was very helpful and responded very quickly. Check-in was easy, and all the information was provided one day prior, including pictures that made it easy to find everything quickly.

Cons: The only downside for me was the cleanliness of the apartment, which could have been a bit better. But aside from that, everything was great.

A nice flat with comfortable bed and mini kitchen

Pros: I like the kitchen area in the room, we can cook what we like and spend a good night in the room

Cons: The commode watching knob was broken, struggled to wash my ass

Comfortable stay close to main attractions

Pros: It was good value for money and we arranged everything through Whatsapp which was efficient. The apartment had all you need for a short stay. Was very close to the Galata Tower, restaurants and public transport.

Cons: As others mentioned, the street looks a bit sketchy with all the electrical shops but I think it is safe, just a bit industrial. Maybe a solo female should not walk around at night though.

Great place!

Pros: An exceptionally good and peaceful place to stay in Istanbul, which we would return to again,...in close proximity to famous landmarks! In addition,...of course,...the easy access, as well as the good organization, warm feedback and correct attitude of Flats Company, make an impression! We wish you only good luck!

Pros: I’ve stayed here for the third time. My favourite place to stay central in Istanbul. The team is amazing, organised an early check in for us and also helped us get our lost luggage from the airport back. The apartment is perfect, clean and spacious enough! Highly recommend it!:)
