Excellent Apartments Galata

Must visit and will definitely stay again

Pros: Excellent location and amazingly well owner/manager even with the language barrier the guy went over and above to always help us out.

A successful stay!

Pros: The location was excellent. Close to the historic center, tram, metro, and ferry. And most importantly, it has an elevator! We stayed in the studio with a balcony. Nice room with a view of the Galata Tower and the street with terraces! In the pictures it looks bigger, but for us it was perfect! Very good Wi-Fi!

Cons: Because the area is one full of terraces, and the noise is as high as 3 o'clock in the morning. I recommend to the owner a check of the windows, because they do not seal well.

Very nice and central

Pros: The location is amazing, the neighborhood is very lively, everything is close by. Galata at 1 min, Iştiklal at 10 min walk, metro, stores, shopping. The building has an elevator which is not very common in old buildings. The building is historical but nicely refurbished. The apartments are kept clean and the host is super attentive and available for everything. There is a laundry room, they also let us leave our luggage for a couple of hours, this is a true example of the famous Turkish hospitality. Recommend!!!

Great apartment at a great location!

Pros: Very well furnished and right next to Galata tower! The apartment has everything one needs. Very happy with the stay. The host is very friendly and approachable.

Cons: I hit my head on the ornate (and quite heavy) chandelier a couple of times. I am 185cm, so not very tall. Wish it was placed a bit higher.

Comfortable, nice apartment with lift near metro and on a safe touristic street

Pros: Location is a few minutes walk from Shishane metro and on a busy touristic street, therefore, it feels safe even late in the evening. There is a lift from the first floor. Apartment is clean and well furnished with a kitchenette and small seating corner. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom is clean with a good size shower cabin. Air conditioning is functioning well. Plenty of wardrobe space to store clothes and baggage. There is a hotel style safe with self-setting pin-code. Flexible self service to change towels/bedsheets. A welcome box with cookies, coffee/tea/bottled water. Plenty of restaurants/cafes/shops at the doorsteps and within a few minutes walk.

Cons: Sometimes there is noise from neighbouring apartments opening/closing their front doors. It's not really an issue but rather a suggestion for investigation/improvement.

Pros: The apartment is in an excellent location. It is small but sufficient for 3 people. Very well equipped, it has everything you need for a few days. It is tidy, clean, and nicely decorated. The owner is very kind and was always available whenever we needed something. I highly recommend it.

Nice property, great location

Pros: This property was ideal for my stay, located centrally and within walking distance of many historical sites. The room was neat and clean, and the host was very responsive to my questions. As it is so well located, the noise from the nearby street cafes, of which there are many, was noticeable, however this is understandable considering the location. Overall, a great property.
